Went to El Palenque after a lapse in time of visiting. Found they were under new management. Orders Pollo Con Crema, Pablano, order of tortillas and one Margarita to go. Pollo Con Crema was very salty, the Stuffed Pablano was only 1, and never received the tortilla's after being asked if it was flour our corn, a few times. Got home with my bag, no tortillas. Order was just under $40.00. Very disappointed. Until they 'regulate' their menu, prices and service, I won't be going back...read full review

HAIR IN FOOD. Manager didnt even want to speak with me. Ive been a customer for years because this has been my favorite place to eat, unfortunately after this its a no. Terrible customer service and disgusting

Based on the reviews, El Palenque offers delicious food with good size portions and great flavor. The rice and cheese enchiladas are the best in a long time. The salsa can be watery and oniony, but the queso makes up for it. The margaritas are consistent, and the bartenders remember orders. However, there have been complaints about hair in food, and the manager did not want to speak about it. The service is sometimes fast and well ran, but other times slow with unreasonable wait times. The menu is large with reasonable pricing. It is a favorite spot for some, but others find the service unacceptable.
