Menchie's Frozen Yogurt (HEB Spring Market)

On Friday June 12th at about 12:30 pm I took my Granddaughter to get some frozen yogurt. There was not an employee or customer in sight. The girl finally came out from the back and did not even great us. The yogurt was great as usual but the place is becoming very run down (see attached pics). We have always enjoyed our experiences there and the customer service had previously alway been great. I hope something can be done to bring this place back to where it was before.

Came here with my family expecting a good experience and left completely disappointed. As you can clearly see from the receipts, we spent a significant amount of money just to be met with nasty attitudes, no greeting when we walked in, and employees staring at us like we did something wrong for being there. What ever happened to simple customer service and making guests feel welcomed?

When you’re spending your hard-earned money, especially bringing a family of 11 out to enjoy themselves, the least you expect is respect and basic hospitality. Instead, the entire atmosphere made us uncomfortable from the moment we walked in.

If you hate your job that much, stay home. Customers should not have to pay for poor attitudes and uncomfortable service. We truly tried to give this place a chance, but after this experience, we will not be returning. My family will gladly spend our money somewhere we actually feel welcomed and appreciated.

We normally like this place to go to for their 5 dollar fill ups which is from 730 to 830 but they decide to close off most of the tables at 830... definitely ruined our experience trying to be with family but them making us stand because they want to clean up early and close 50% of the tables off... Will not be back...

And now kicking people out before closing time... awful experience

Recently went to this location and loved the lady at the front, she’s very attentive and I was with a family relative who spoke Spanish and she was able to communicate well and he said she was very helpful and will definitely come back to this Menchie’s. The yogurt was nice and flavorful and the toppings were nice, as I sat and ate at the location the same lady at the front despite being busy and always on her feet. Definitely will come back to this location!!

So good. Mondays you can get all the toppings you want for like $5-7. Love the blueberry muffin yogurt 😋

Love my Monday special at Menchies but today was a disappointment, lady cashier was nice but then same one asked us to leave the closed lobby area because they start cleaning at 8:30 and it was full of people, so we went to the other side, but still felt kind of pushed out the door because they started to take the trashcan too. A group of like 9 ladies came in and one of the girl asked for restroom and they told her they had no restroom, which I know they do, so lady said how do you not have a public restroom and they responded yes we do but it's closed now and it was 8:30 now I get it they close at 9 but you still have to take care of customer service. Corporate should come and check location without letting crew know. And by the way the shell chocolate machine has not worked properly in over a month. This place use to be great place to come eat a treat, but it has change a lot. Outside had to much trash bags on the floor and it was dirty, etc. And they need to bring other yogurt flavors back. 😒 very disappointed this time.

This place is very good! I came here with my mom and sister. I am a true frozen yogurt lover, and I can tell you that this really isn’t just an ordinary place. When I lived in Canada, I would always ask my dad to ride our bikes to Menchie’s. They have more flavors than other places and offer a variety of toppings. Truly in my top 10 favorite dessert places.

The owners are super friendly! I walked in and they were freshly making waffle bowls; it smells amazing in there. This is the bowl i created, I enjoyed it plus it comes with a cute spoon !

Is this location still open? I arrived yesterday at 12:02 pm. It says opening time is noon and I had a craving for froyo. Nobody was there, lights were off and door was locked 🥺

Update: someone had a family emergency! Totally understand. Will have to come by again next time the craving hits.
