Tried for the first time. Lisa waited on me. She was fantastic and so patient. She offered samples to help me make my decision. I was blessed to meat the owner/cook. She was so kind and confident in the food and service she provides. As stated service was top notch. Thay alone will bring me back. The menu is full and can satisfy a spul food craving. I ordered the turkey wings with rice and gravy with the sweet potatoes and greens for sides. And an order of 3 chicken wings. The meal came with cornbread that was tender like a piece of cake. 😋

The portion sizes are more than sufficient. Everything was hot and fresh. The turkey meat fell off the bones. I definitely recommend the greens, cabbage, or string beans. The chicken wings had good flavor and crunch. The texture and seasoning put on the wings were not my preference.
The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Very clean. I am looking forward to returning and trying other menu items.
Oh, they sell kool-aid to make the meal complete.😁
There are also specials, so ask about those as well.

I spent $35 for a rib plate dinner. The ribs where old tasting like the had been in the refrigerator for days and so was the macaroni and cheese. The green beans had an unusual taste to them.and the corn bread was dry. I wasted 35.00. Most of the rib tips was the hard in pieces. It was a extremely first bad impression. I would have to taste the fried menu in order to give a complete review, because it could be that this restaurant food is better fried. I do restaurant post all the time, but I didn't do one on this one. Because of the first time visit. I don't want to hinder a visit from others coming. So I'll do one at another time.

We hosted a graduation luncheon @ Munches and Manervas Soul Food Restaurant. It was a great experience. We were allowed to decorate and rearrange the room as needed;the food prepared was excellent, the staff was very helpful. It was a very pleasant experience. Thanks so much for your hospitality. This is not for sides this is a sauce container I was so disappointed about this. The greens where ok cornbread cold and chicken I don’t what they put on top of it something white maybe salt but to salty and not fried completely

They have good food but dont go at 6pm or after because they are closed. The posted hours say they close at 7pm but in reality they closed at 6pm. I've went 3 different times on three different days and had the same early closure experience.

Met with a smile. Had greens, cabbage, fish,pork chop, yams , cornbread and Mac& cheese. Every item was outstanding. All for $26. I left extremely satisfied .

Placed an order for pick up and they say it’s ready in 20 mins. I show up and they are completely closed yet online says they are still open.

I've been here a few times and the food has been flavorful but this most Recent time, the oil must have been old because me and my partner had sharp pains in our stomach after eating the fried fish and fried chicken wings. Lots of indigestion and bloating.

I just truly have to give props to this establishment . I had a large order 3 salmon plates and a pork chop plate , with greens and yams and everything was hot, seasoned, and just breathtaking. To make it even better they have amazing customer service. I thought they forgot to give me my bannana pudding and koolaid so I stated that concern. The manager was so professional and handled my complaint with care and corrected the problem immediately. Turns out I did get my koolaid and bannana pudding so I had to apologize and she was so understanding and was like it’s ok..

Not to mention when I placed my order online I forgot to select the sides and the gentleman called me and asked what sides I wanted. Definitely try this restaurant . They met all my expectations and more and it’s hard to find a good honest establishment but this one nailed .
