If I could give the food 0 stars, I would. I never leave reviews but I was shocked at the poor quality of the food here. I got a chicken taco plate and the meat was insanely hard and dry. There were no condiments on the taco or on the side. I also got a breakfast burrito and the potatoes in the burrito were barely cooked and not edible. The service was okay but the food was just not good at all. Will not be returning.

First time trying this place and the guy at the counter was the least approachable person on the planet. Sitting there with a scowl and barely speaking when we walked up. We ordered breakfast tacos. The tortillas were pale and gross the cheese was ice cold and unmelted. I ate one and threw away my second. We were both left with stomach aches. I hate leaving such bad reviews for a small business but, if you're gonna have a sign on your window that begs "support local businesses" the business needs to make an effort too. Zero passion. The food was awful. The hospitality was non-existant and we will never go back.

I love supporting small business but skip this place. We came for Sunday breakfast and should have known the food wouldn’t be great when we were the only ones there at 10:15am. I ordered the chilaquiles with red sauce, over medium eggs and carne Asada. The food was served hot but there was little to no flavor in the dish. The chips in chilaquiles should still have some crunch, these were soggy when served. Nothing was offered to help the dish. Not pico, not Cholula, no fresh salsa. No cilantro, avocado NOTHING. It was served with sour cream, which I normally love, but it made the food even more bland.
Atmosphere was average taqueria, restaurant looked clean. The teen taking the orders with a sign stating that tips were for his high school soccer team was not friendly or polite in any way. We were the only customers and he acted pretty put out by taking our order.
2 plates of food, no drinks, no chips and salsa, literally just 2 plates was $28. We both ordered the chilaquiles. Mine with red sauce, his with green. The green sauce was as underwhelming as the red.
Nothing was disgusting or inedible, but when I go out to eat I want delicious food and this just wasn’t it.
Skip this place and go to Julio’s on Sawdust. I wish I had. They have better prices, delicious food and you’ll always be served chips and salsa with your order! Plus, margaritas!

People if you have passed them by because of the location please don't let the cover fool you. Their Texas burritos are amazing and huge. Clearly no one informed them that we're in a recession because they pile everything into these burritos. Try the burger
