If you want people to call you fat in Spanish while you are simply trying to suprise your team with donuts...then you picked the right place to go!!! Otherwise don't waste your time. They are 2 old Mexican women who need to look in a mirror before they insult customers..especially those who just so happen to speak the language...will not be returning ever!!! I'll waste my gas to go somewhere else that appreciates my business.

The staff is usually grumpy, but I make a point to tip anyways. Not today, we were waiting in line, my daughter and I, and the person in front of us got done so we walked up to the empty register. We were told the lady on the other register would take care of us, no problem. Apparently that was a big problem because the two ladies started arguing back in forth with one another and point at us. I have no clue what they said, because they were yelling in a different language, but what made it really bad was the pointing at us like we did something wrong. They were so caught up in arguing that they missed one of my donuts. I left, no tip, and with my 4yr old confused and crying. This might be my last visit.
Very rude staff, inconsistent quality. Went to this location once at 5:30 in the morning, asked for hot glazed donuts and was told they had none. The donuts we received were clearly from the day before, so they were not at all fresh.My wife went to this location this morning and the staff asked her how much she was going to tip.

The young girl that waited on me, made me pay, and then it took 10 minutes for them to prepare my order. When she finally came to the window with my order, I made mention of it and she closes the window in my face. I came to the drive-through because I want it faster service and the fact that it took 10 minutes to make my order and made me late for work was very upsetting. I wasn't giving a bag my order or any napkins just a box in my bag of donuts very disappointing do better Shipleys.

A donut is not just a donut. If you order some Shipley's donuts fresh from the oven then you are in for a sugary treat of hot dough and mmm smiles. If for some reason you cannot eat your donuts right away, no fret they will still taste as good as when you ordered them. It might just require a bit of a zap in the microwave with your donut covered by a wet napkin. On the other hand, the majority of the Shipley's I have visited in Houston have some poor quality coffee and this one did not deviate from this assessment. The coffee is too acidic and has little to no flavor profile. Still would stop by and get a donut!

Service is horrible!! The donuts and kolache were good but seemed smaller than other locations. We stop here on Friday on the way to school sometimes and very excited to not be greeted and no smiling faces. The employees don't appear to like their job at all and get annoyed very easily especially if you change your mind on your order. Was also bummed to find out they close early. I really hope they improve otherwise we won't be going back.
