Sat at our table for hibachi for 25 minutes, no one ever came to our table to even take out drink order. They sat a group next table over and went and took their order. They never once acknowledged us.

The food at this restaurant is the best that my son and I have ever had, his favorite is the chicken teppanyaki and mine is the scallion fish a must have. The atmosphere is delightful with the goldfish aquarium and relaxing decor. And Jane the manager there is very welcoming and gracious, as are the servers. Shogun (on 2920) is definitely a place to come for a delicious meal with friends and family. A+

Loved our celebration at Shogun!!! Middle son turned 20!!
Today, I ventured to this supposedly romantic restaurant for a Valentine's Day dinner, only to be greeted with an immediate letdown. Upon arrival, the server lazily instructed us to just find any vacant table, as if we were an afterthought in their bustling establishment. The lack of proper seating arrangements was the first warning sign of what was to come.Once we managed to seat ourselves, we were graced with the presence of our server who sluggishly took our drink orders. While the drinks themselves were passable, the same couldn't be said for the agonizingly slow pace of the food service. Despite placing our orders promptly, it felt like an eternity before anything arrived at our table. To add insult to injury, my companion received their sushi order while I sat there twiddling my thumbs for a good 40 to 50 minutes. The server, oblivious to the ordeal, even had the audacity to inquire if we wanted the salad and soup that supposedly came with our meal – a meal that had yet to grace our table.Needless to say, my anticipation for a delightful culinary experience was swiftly replaced with bitter disappointment. The utter lack of attentiveness and care from the staff ensured that any enjoyment was off the menu. It's safe to say that I won't be subjecting myself to such neglectful service again.

Long Review: This is a place I found about 4 years ago. Me and my close friends celebrate our birthdays here all the time. So last night I was enjoying a solo dinner and just as the food was finished , the power went out from the storm. No sweat because we put on our phone flashlights and continued our meal. Of course this meant we couldn’t be billed so we gave our numbers and promised to pay the day after . Well I came to pay my bill not only because it’s the right thing to do but we also love this place. I was given 10% off my bill, a free alcoholic drink, and a free appetizer. I’m sure they probably lost some money yesterday but their gratitude for me actually coming back and paying my bill was so refreshing. 10 stars ☺️

The service was amazing, great people, and the food was a 6.5/10. However I got the dinner combo with shrimp which was $15.95 and steak which was $15.95 and I only got 6 shrimp but paid $15 for it and we also asked for double fried rice but instead of veggies but instead had to pay for a small fried rice.
Man on fire roll was good. Sashimi was okay, not the best we've had and didn't taste sushi grade tbh. Service was nice but a bit slow, especially for a weeknight when it didn't look too busy. This was our second time trying the food, first time dining in, most likely won't be back. Their habachi looked like it was popular but not something we were interested in.

We have eaten here twice since moving to the area. Both times the food was prepared as expected & good service. My husband loves tempura and this is the best he has found so far.

Enjoying Christmas weekend with my family. Entertainment from a show the chef puts on, our waiter was attentive.
