Flying Pug Sports Bar is a popular spot, especially for its crawfish. The place has a friendly and inviting atmosphere, with many regulars who enjoy the good food and reasonable prices. The crawfish is often praised as the best around, with the "mixed" option being a favorite. The service is generally good, with attentive staff providing great service and conversation. The bar features many brews on tap and offers Thursday night steak night, showcasing a delicious ribeye, salad, and sides for $16.99, always cooked perfectly. Kids are welcome until 9, and there are plenty of TVs for sports fans, with at least 20 screens showing the big game. The restaurant is especially lively during crawfish season, with Monday night specials that are highly anticipated. Customers have enjoyed classic bar bites, and the Fried Oreos are a must-try dessert. Despite some slow service at times, the overall experience, food quality, and value make Flying Pug Sports Bar a place worth visiting, especially for date nights or game nights.
