Homestyle Cooking that satisfies the heart and the belly! Avalon Diner is a staple in the Stafford/Sugar Land community. We hadn’t visited this Diner in several years but popped in for breakfast on a Saturday. Although busy, we were greeted so warmly by the host and manager. They were truly welcoming and pleasant!

We ordered breakfast staples - The Mega Meat Omelette and the Corn Hash plus a kid’s meal. We didn’t wait long for the food, maybe 10-13 minutes....

This is our 2nd time here. The first was not a great experience given we arrived 20 minutes before closing it felt as though we were being rushed out, not even a welcoming during our entry was given. It was difficult to enjoy the food and atmosphere when the staff was more worried about closing than quality service. We decided to give this place a 2nd try today, months later and we're pleased with the experience. Our waitress Adrian was very welcoming and attentive. ...

Perfect stop driving through Houston. Was easy on easy off. The waffles and bacon were actually perfect. Service was friendly, with a cute diner feel. Only complaint the booths were very hard, but otherwise it was the perfect stop on our trip.
