Only recommending cause the waitress was so nice and because every place deserves a second chance!
My bill was Way too expensive.
Food needed flavor.
Fried pickles were soggy, and I had to ask if my order was a full order cause the portion was so small. It was like a kids order 😭.
They don’t give enough gravy for the steak fingers.

Stopped in for a quick burger at lunch. We ordered jalapeño burger s and asked to have the onions and jalapeños grilled. Our burgers were made to order however we had no idea that ordering the onions and jalapeños grilled would cost $5 extra per burger🤬. When I complained about the ridiculous up-charge and the lack of communication about it, I was told that was their policy and that the manager would speak to the waitress about it. EJ's Cotton Pickin' Dive is a great local restaurant with friendly servers and delicious food. They offer daily lunch specials, and the club sandwich is a customer favorite. The chicken fried steak is huge and delicious, and the meat loaf is very unique and tastes amazing, wrapped in bacon and smoked. The buffalo chicken salad is so good and made with fresh ingredients. Sides like homemade potatoes, sautéed green beans with onions and bacon, and creamed corn are a treat. While the music volume could be improved and prices may be slightly high for some, the overall dining experience is positive, with amazing food and good service.
