OMG, I grew up on text max, this place is the bomb. Friendly service, staff are great. I don't usually eat Spanish rice but THIS rice was excellent. And the BEST CARNE GUISADA I've ever eaten. This is our new favorite place to go....
Went for lunch at 12.30 on a Wednesday - parking lot was full of trucks - had to wait for someone to leave to find parking (a good sign) - the outside is not much to look at, and the inside is even plainer - plywood floors and OSB walls - chips were good - salsa was simple and spicy - ordered the lunch special - chicken fajita - the tortillas were hot and excellent - the food tasted good and homeade - the plate had chicken, grilled onion, lettuce, guacamole, cheese and tomato,...
Flavor of food is always excellent - Guacamole is perfect every time I have frequented past 4 years ! The fajitas & carne guisada is BETTER than the best of restaurants in San Antonio ! Homemade tortillas to die for ! Sometimes hard to get a seat because of popularity & good food !
