Cozy and quiet. The surroundings are beautiful. Our room the Library Loft was appropriately named as a full wall books is the main show in the room. There’s even a reading nook by the window. The breakfast was amazing. Fresh and served to you at the table. Perfectly cooked eggs. Fresh muffins, sausage and bacon. The orange juice was so good! The entire property is clean and well cared for, and the service is exceptional.

. Stayed in hilltop. Bed is uncomfortable, old tired cardboard bed and pillows to match. 1 ply toilet paper. Shower didn’t drain and toilet ran all night. Website says chef cooked breakfast. On a weekend we got a frozen waffle yogurt thrown on top and microwaved bacon and a tiny cup of OJ. No water or coffee offered. No pastries as mentioned on website. No options. Disappointing stay for the price. The view is beautiful, check in was simple. Nice parking lot and quiet. I prefer nicer amenities inside my room.

We've stayed here three times. HIGHLY recommend- beautiful views, lovely service, gourmet breakfasts! We've stayed in three different rooms on their property and they've all been adorable. They have a delicious daily hot breakfast for guests (be aware that it's not an a la carte menu). Some examples of what we've had are: -Crepes with grilled veggies and a side of fruit -Waffles with yogurt, bananas, and granola, side of bacon -Egg scramble with potato hash They also have OJ and a coffee station (their coffee is 10/10). In addition, they have an all-day hot tea station, sodas, water, and chocolate chip cookies. I think on certain weekdays they have a more continental style breakfast, which I've had in the past and is also delicious. Our favorite part of our stay is their porch on the main house. Sweeping views of hill country, lots of tables for enjoying breakfast, an evening bottle of wine, or a board game. Kind staff. We'll continue to come back to this property- highly recommend!!!!

We had such a relaxing weekend at Rose Hill! The cottage we were in was in perfect proximity to the lane that leads to the vineyard next door, so we could go over to have a bottle of wine and listen to live music. Then we were able to come back to Rose Hill to have an incredible dinner cooked and served by Fernando, their wonderful chef. He also made fantastic breakfasts for us on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The views from the porch on our cottage were heavenly, and we will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary at RHR last week. Awesome experience. Our second stay at RHR. Amy and team are great hosts. Amy has done a great job adding accommodations and updating existing rooms. Oak Hill Cottage was very nice. Views were incredible. Breakfasts out of this world. Very nice and very relaxing. Definitely recommend to folks looking for the perfect getaway and some R&R.

Our stay at the Rose Hill Retreat couldn't have been more idyllic! Our room (the Library Loft) was so cozy, quiet, and relaxing! Excellent amenities provided by Amy, who was friendly and informative! Meals at the Manor were top notch. The location was just close enough to Fredericksburg to enjoy the attractions there, but far enough away to feel nice and secluded. We couldn't have been happier with our romantic and relaxing getaway!
