“K Estate is a beautiful winery and a great addition to the Grape Creek family. The property is well done, with a relaxed atmosphere and great views that make it easy to spend an afternoon there.

We really enjoyed the wine, and the snacks were a nice complement to the tasting. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and everything felt polished without being pretentious.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Fredericksburg.”

“My husband and I were driving through Johnson City on our way to Fredericksburg and found this awesome food truck!! You never really know what you’re getting with a random food truck but OMG 😳 I ordered the cast iron hash and my husband ordered the scramble! They both were beyond delicious!!! The layers of flavors were to die for!! What a wonderful experience and a grand surprise! The owners were so very nice! I would recommend this food truck and rate it a 10 out of 10!!! “We are back home in Micanopy Florida, and I am reviewing the menu thinking about our experience at Leroy's Tex Mex BBQ in Fredericksburg TX, and all I can think is what GREAT food it was. I want more right now! Really folks, this place has excellent TexMex BBQ. Four of us had a variety of entrees. Leroy's Nachos are outstanding, the brisket was very good. The salad was very tasty. Summary: great recipes, well executed BBQ, friendly folks, very fresh vegetables (very tasty jalapenos - it's hard to get flavorful spicy crispy jalapenos now), reasonable prices. My wife said: "Tell folks to walk around and familiarize yourself with what is offered. Take your time." There is a lot offered, not all of it is on the menu. There are so many delicious well executed items. TEX MEX at its best”

“I got to try Hye Cider at H‑E‑B and I was surprised! I’m not much of a cider person but wow this actually tasted really good! I really like the flavor of the Hye Heaven, it’s more sweet but not overly sweet which is just the taste I go for nowadays. I definitely recommend!”

“Until I can make it to Texas, I’m bringing Diamond Vineyards to me in central New York! I ordered a shipment with selections of Tempranillo, Tannat, Mourvedre, and Melee and loved them all! Shipping was easy with lots of options and the wine was packed with care. I can see why the Tempranillo is a favorite with a unique flavor and warm rich feel perfect for a cold snowy night by the fire. I will replenish my stash and hope to visit the source, soon. The owner, Barb, creates a welcoming and fantastically fun atmosphere with her personality, available games, and local crafts for sale. We meet several really cool locals. If we lived closer we'd hang out all the time!”

“Went to Wranglers last night to celebrate my brother's birthday. It did not disappoint! The food was amazing! Everything from the steaks to the appetizers to the sides was some of the best I had in a long time. The truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes and alpine chicken were my favorites! Chris, the Executive Chef, has a passion for food that reflects in all the dishes. Maddie and Gary provided excellent service! Definitely a welcome addition to the Fredericksburg area!”

“Recommended by an acquaintance. About 6 miles North of town in an old Sinclair gas station. A small bar and 4 tables. Menu choice was a DinoBLT or hot wings. We went for the BLT. Order at the bar, no table service. BLT's came out in a paper sack. Bottle beer and canned soda are the beverage options, no water. Could well be the best BLT I ever had. $10.00. Weekends The menu changes to DinoBurger $20.00 and wings. Would have come back for that but left town the next day. While waiting around for food, wander through the service bay.”

Mr. Alexander, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his collection — he made the experience both educational and fun.
