“I had the brisket tacos, hubby got the two meat with lean brisket and turkey. The meat is smoked with local mesquite wood and seasoned perfectly. The beans are very good too, so was the salsa, potato salad was solid. My only complaint is the tortillas were store bought, not made in house. Yes, it is expensive. More than you would pay pretty much anywhere else. I assume it's because Terlingua/Study Butte is in the middle of nowhere at the end of the supply chain. However, I do think it's worth the stop.“

“We were so excited to come back to Terilingua and finally try La Kiva since reopening with new owners, Andy and Mallory. It did not disappoint! In fact, we came back the next day for round 2! The place is awesome, the staff were amazing and the food was incredible! Such a fun vibe to go to and hangout at the bar, or with a group of friends and a cute little back area to enjoy as well! These 2 have gone above and beyond to bring this unique gem back to life! We can't wait to come back!“
