I went there to eat lunch with my dad. There was plenty of available seating and everything was clean. We got the daily special which consisted of pork and sausage. The sausage was overcooked with a casing being tough to chew. The sausage was okay but the pork didn't have really any flavor.
We love Brookstreet! The restaurant is very clean and the food is fresh. We love getting the baked potatoes which have a plenty of meat and are good sized. We've eaten in and take to go, both with good results. Sometimes the staff are tired but they're not rude. They're well versed in the menu and helpful. A great BBQ restaurant in the area!
The food was outstanding! The service was friendly and welcoming. The food is tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We had the meat plate, chop baked potato, potato salad, mac-n-cheese, and baked beans, pulled pork, jalapeño sausage, and chop beef; all of which were delicious. The prices are good. Needs music in the dining room for an atmosphere or a sports TV.
