It's hit and miss. It used to be a place to eat once a week... Now it's only once in a blue moon. One of the main reasons are the waiters. You get a table then they just forget about you. Last night for example (12/14/2025) we got a table and waited and waited for our waiter. We set a timer to leave and in the last 30 seconds a different waitress show up to take our orders. Good food though!

Didn't have Jameson, didn't have blue moon, couldn't make a side car, or an old fashioned. Ordered a steak medium and it was super Well done. I personally won't be back. My friends Order was perfect.

Check in for a table for 12. Waited roughly 1 hr with no manager in site. Finally had to get two booths. Management needs to train the hosts correctly

Best quality for the price !!! One of my go to places

Update: 11/29 it’s legit just me and two other couple at the bar but I’m solo the bartender (Kaitlyn) brings both couples out croissants and silverware meanwhile I order my drink and food she doesn’t bring me silverware nor a croissant bow the funny thing is I never eat the croissants but the fact that she gave everyone else one made me pissed I legit had to ask somewone else for silverware and buffalo sauce because she just avoided me!!!! I used to work here for 5 years and I would’ve never acted in that manor !!! But it’s okay that’s why this place gets low quality clientele! Next time I’ll just order take out!! Now I understand I’m a server but at least fake it to me and I always tip over 20% especially if I get good service! She was the absolute worst!!! And I’ll take my money somewhere else !

Stopped by Cheddars today to grab a quick lunch and I was a bit disappointed. We ordered the Country fried steaks and although the steak was tender, it was swimming in breading.
More than half of the meal was nothing but breading...

I asked about Family meals, since there was absolutely no information on their menu, but my server seemed new and directed me to someone else.

I was also going to order a to go meal, but since my sever never came back to ask about drink refills I didn't get the opportunity to place my to go order to I stopped elsewhere.

And like everyone else who has ever gone out for a meal. Our server hovered all over us at the beginning of our ordering, the ENTIRE RESTAURANT was like a ghost town when I was ready to pay to leave...

Issues like this start at the top with management.

Our meal was ok, but the overall experience was enough for me to choose another location for my next meal.

Management should be able to do a better job with training.

My friends and I ate at Cheddar's in Sugar Land. We haven't been there for several months. The level of service and quality of food have significantly deteriorated. The waiter wrote down the incorrect order. The baked potato was burnt for everyone at the table that ordered the baked potato. When the waiter told us that we could pay using the terminals at the table, the terminals didn't work and we ended up waiting over 20 minutes before the issue was rectified. Overall we had a poor dining experience. I wouldn't recommend.

I’m only giving two stars due to the server who I believe his name was Javeyon was amazing! Other than that, this food was absolutely ridiculous! I ordered a burger and my friend order there New Orleans pasta. The burger, absolutely horrible. It taste as if it was cooked in water with no seasonings.. the pasta, no sauce to it what so ever. It looked so watery. I would not recommend this place what do ever.

I went here recently with my wife. I am… well I was a Cheddars fan! It was my number restaurant until this experience. The food was dry, cold, and salty. I asked for them to make it again and it came out HOT…. And dry and salty. My last few experiences with Cheddars have not been good. This one is the one that did it. As we left, I sadly told my wife “I think I’m done with Cheddars”.
