Rukhsar did an amazing job with us. She was great at explaining the menu in detail with us and sharing all the most popular dishes and she was so hospitable. The food was also amazing and I would definitely be back.
I am giving 4 atar and not 5 star rating and we used to love eating at the restaurant as compared to the ones in Chicago, however, the food this time wasn't as good. Either the chef has changed or something else bit its not the same quality. We ordered to go 3 to 4 things and none of them were as good as previous years. Previous year we had stopped over at Mai Colachi in transit but we were disappointed this time
By far Mai Colachi is one of the finest desi restaurant in Houston / Sugar land area .
I had them cater my wedding with 500+ people in May 2024 and I had them cater my son’s wedding 500+ people Jan 2025 and Sheryar (owner) goes above and beyond my expectation.
He has catered 5 or more events for me and he is my go to restaurant.
