“This place has the best beef/chicken kobeideh …very authentic melts in your mouth ….I have tried many places and finally found the best kobeideh in town ! Grilled tomatoes, paneer cheese with other vegetables so goooood MashAllah Also rice is so good yellow and white put a little butter on top got it to go and they pack it so good that when u come home steam comes out when u open it. Ps also best place for hand cut Tahir chicken only. Meat all Zabihah halal MashAllah“

“I got one of their specials with two different kababs (Jujeh and Koobideh) with their salad (instead of rice). The meat was terrific and that's worth five stars. But the salad was very disappointing: most of was shredded iceberg (cheap & tasteless) lettuce with a couple of small slices of tomato and a couple of even smaller slices of carrots. That was it. I've had much better salads at other Persian restaurants, or really any other restaurant for that matter. So, I'll take off one star because the side item was so disappointing.“

“I tried New Saffron Kabob House with a recommendation from a friend. I ordered their chapli kabob. I instantly loved it. I am safe to say that it’s one of the best Afghan food in Houston! It is located in the Guatemalan town of Hillcraft. Do check it out if you want to try one of the most underrated cuisines. “afghan cuisine”“

“There is renovation going on to make this a better dining experience, so for now, just tried to-go. Was not disappointed, I was craving filet tender meat with basmati rice, also opted to get the combo to try the chicken too. I loved the meat, and my husband got the chicken thighs and the house salad. Everything was good and we ate the leftovers the next day. Their basmatirice was cooked just right. I definitely will return. The bread wasn't my favorite, a little thin and chewy, but that was not what I was looking for, just the protein.“
