Toast Reviews
I went here for my birthday lunch, and it was a huge disappointment. We waited 40 minutes just to get our food, The mazapán pancakes, which used to be the reason we came, were so dry it wasn't even funny & The eggs were poorly presented and looked completely unappetizing.. country fried steak was horrible it was more flour than steak. Out of the four of us, only one person actually enjoyed their food.
The biggest letdown was finding a HAIR in my dish -- thankfully,...read full review
DO NOT RECOMMEND. Concerned about management's commitment to service and health/food safety.
I have been to this establishment several times however today's experience left me shocked and concerned about this establishment and their commitment to food safety, quality and service. From checking in at the hostess station to walking out there door, there were issues with the service, servers, food quality and commitment, to proper health standards. We shared a donut croissant with peanut butter, bananas and bacon it was a perfect ending to this delicious meal! we will definitely be returning!

Toast is a beautiful and clean restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, such as the chicken biscuits and gravy, chilaquiles, and a donut croissant with peanut butter, bananas, and bacon. The mango lemonade and strawberry lemonade are refreshing choices. The staff provides excellent service, and the prices are reasonable. The decor is fresh and inviting, with nature-themed decorations. The menu includes classic breakfast choices with Vietnamese and Hispanic flavors. Toast has become a popular breakfast spot in Houston, with a growing and evolving menu. The owners create a warm and welcoming environment, making customers feel like part of a family.
The kitchen is on point, and the staff is attentive even when the place is packed. The chilaquiles are packed with amazing flavor and presentation. The Viet steak and eggs are tender and juicy, and the scrambled eggs are buttery smooth. The chili oil is a delicious addition to the steak. The latte with steamed heavy cream and the spicy mimosa are also well-prepared. The food is really good, and the waiter is incredibly friendly, making sure to check on the table. The variety of fun food options and the kid-friendly atmosphere make Toast a great choice for a meal. Recently, customers have found the food to be amazing and the ambience lively. Service has been praised, especially the friendliness and helpfulness of staff like Emily. The french toast has been called the start of the show, and although some drinks like the “Star Lit” are very sweet and taste like a mocktail, overall the food and service are excellent. Despite a little noise, the overall experience remains fantastic, making Toast a popular spot in Houston.
