Made a trip with my 64 year old friend to celebrate his birthday to the best German place ever since he lived in Germany for years and still missed the food. Did my sure diligence, at least I thought so, checked both Yelp and the website but was meet with a new hours sign that the hours have moved from a noon open to 5. Understand Covid changes, but please update places folks check.

Very pleasantly surprised! I've eaten at German restaurants in Germany so this snobby European was half expecting to be disappointed, and we only went here because the place we were planning to go to was closed, but I'm so glad we went here instead! The food was hearty without being too salty (a rare thing for my bland-accustomed British pallet - why is food in America so often ridiculously salty??) with so much flavour and ENORMOUS portions. Beer was nice enough but I'm really fussy - bf said it it was very tasty. Served in the cutest little boot mug. Liked the decor and sturdy wooden chairs on the patio. Very well done!

The best meal we have had in months. We had a couple of sampler plates that gave us a bit of everything and it was all soooo good. They even made the lowly potato something scrumptious. The service was very good and the spacing was good Covid-wise. Can't wait to go back!
