We have been all over Texas on the BBQ tour. Slaughter's ranks among the best. The staff is friendly. The meats are smoked right. And the sides are among some of the best we've had. Definitely worth the trip to Sulphur Springs.

BBQ is not an ordinary go to place for us but the outside of this building looked so inviting we give it a try. We were not let down! BBQ was fantastic, the inside decor was great, all the staff were very attentive to our needs, a real A++++++ experience! Definitely coming back next time we pass thru.

Finally!! BBQ as good as my hometown (Lockhart, Tx). I moved to NE Texas last year and really missed the food of central Texas, especially the BBQ. Then I found out about Slaughter’s and HOT DAMN! They are as good if not better than the BBQ found in Lockhart! And their menu is really diverse with a great selection of meats and sides! Plus, they actually dressed the sides with crumbled bacon, paprika, etc. They even made sure the BBQ was plated well! Super attention to detail and fantastic smoking made for one hellova meal! And I don’t have to drive four hours to get my BbQ fix!!

Came for an event in Sulphur and decided to take up a friends invite to come and eat. So glad we did! Everything was perfectly done, food was delicious, and customer service was immaculate. I had the turkey, Brussel sprouts, and corn bread. My wife had brisket, spicy sausage, Mac and cheese, and potato salad.
We finally tried Slaughter’s BBQ and it was delicious! We had a half rack of ribs, brisket nachos and a side of the cornbread casserole - it was all so good. Might be the best ribs we’ve ever had.
The service was fast and very friendly. The atmosphere is really cool - it was a great place to have lunch. Can’t wait to go back and try more!
Driving through Silver Springs, TX we were looking for a place to eat, and man did we pick the right place! Everything was fantastic, meat fell right off the ribs, brisket was sooooo good. The mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and everything was just amazing. They are "open till they run out" which can happen so don't wait to long to get there and try it out.
