We have been all over Texas on the BBQ tour. Slaughter's ranks among the best. The staff is friendly. The meats are smoked right. And the sides are among some of the best we've had. Definitely worth the trip to Sulphur Springs.
BBQ is not an ordinary go to place for us but the outside of this building looked so inviting we give it a try. We were not let down! BBQ was fantastic, the inside decor was great, all the staff were very attentive to our needs, a real A++++++ experience! Definitely coming back next time we pass thru.
Finally!! BBQ as good as my hometown (Lockhart, Tx). I moved to NE Texas last year and really missed the food of central Texas, especially the BBQ. Then I found out about Slaughter’s and HOT DAMN! They are as good if not better than the BBQ found in Lockhart! And their menu is really diverse with a great selection of meats and sides! Plus, they actually dressed the sides with crumbled bacon, paprika, etc. They even made sure the BBQ was plated well! Super attention to detail...
