Our office all ordered the lunch special which was the grilled chicken wrap. Absolutely horrible. I don’t know how you can really mess this up but there was no dressing and the Lettuce was brown and slimy. A waste of $16. Will never eat here again.
Let's start off with the super quant Sulphur Springs downtown! OMG! BEAUTIFUL AND PATRIOTIC!
The restaurant is nestled right in the mix of it all! Excellent outside patio and great cocktails!
Eating my food and found a HUGE HAIR in mashed potatoes. They said it was probably from a rag they use. YUCK! So rags and food have hair. Manager/owner never came out and they didn't offer to make me a fresh dish. SAD. OWNER AND MANAGEMENT AT FAULT. SO I GO HOME HUNGRY AND HUSBAND ATE HIS FOOD.
Good food, service was very slow for some reason ( not usually that way). Highly recommend if you're in Sulphur Springs
We were waited by the waitress named Jordan and were shocked to hear she was still in training. Her service was fantastic! Will definitely come again!
Good food and service. Very affordable.
I came in yesterday was in town for first time with basketball games. Got there at 1:00 didn’t get food till 2:15. Which okay I didn’t complain. I finally get out food I ordered the smothered chicken for came out very thin piece of chicken still didn’t complain! Ate about a 4th of it never got to eat anything else cause I started throwing up running back and forth to bathroom having leave my little kids at table alone. Yes the waitress was made aware cause in middle of trying to cash out she even asked me if I was okay and I had to run to the bathroom in middle of her taking my payment. I told her there something wrong with your chicken or something cause I can’t stop throwing up. All she said was oh I’m sorry and looked at me. No I didn’t stay to argue cause I couldn’t stop throwing up even after walking down to the splash pad I was throwing up in that bathroom as well. I did try to reach out and have been ignored. $60 is a lot of money to spend to be sick the whole rest of day while trying to attend ball games and into the night. It’s now Sunday morning and I’m still feeling sick ish. I was perfectly fine till I are your smothered chicken and yes I have proof I ate there I even sent over the bank confirmation of my payment and no one has answered. I work hard for my money and sure yall do to so spending that much money and being sick from the food in this economy is outrageous. Would never reviewed like this if I haven’t been ignored. Wouldn’t recommend this place l. Sad thing this my first time in Sulphur Springs for this experience.
Corner Grub House is hands-down one of the best spots to eat in Sulphur Springs. Whether you're grabbing lunch with friends or enjoying a laid-back dinner downtown, the food is always on point, fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Big shoutout to Kaylee and the entire team for going above and beyond every single day. They keep things running smoothly, even during the busiest hours, all while delivering top-tier service with a smile. Their attention to detail, great attitudes, and genuine hospitality make every visit feel like you're right at home. From burgers and wings to their daily specials and signature drinks, everything that comes out of the kitchen is made with care. The vibe is upbeat, the service is fast, and the food speaks for itself. Corner Grub House is a local favorite for a reason!

The food was great. I had the philly and my only complaint is needs to be twice the size, it was wonderful. The Blanco queso was good as well but needed to be a little bit warmer temp wise but good overall. My fiance had the salad bar which she said was good and had many options for the salad lovers. Great date spot in downtown Sulphur Springs with beautiful surroundings and atmosphere.

Fun and friendly fare on the Sulphur Springs square. Tons of seating inside, on the square sidewalk and in an adjacent building. Plenty of really Texas-friendly servers, always busy tending tables or restocking the extensive salad bar. And the house old-fashioned is Bulleit rye which is a great start! Just wish they used more seasonings…my steak was cooked to order, one of her pork chops dry, but both needed salt and pepper. Green beans and broccoli also just meh. We didn’t try them but the cakes looked tempting.
Festive with the Christmas lights going up and service, but ended up being just a dinner.
Vegetarian options: Numerous sides available, nice salad bar
Parking: Ample free parking around downtown
