Horrible service waited nearly an hour for our food. It came, I had ordered 4 piece chicken strips they brought three. Waitress said she would bring the 4th never did and sent another wait person out to try and handle the problem. Food was not hot. Other wait person ask why we didn’t tell our server. We told her she never came back. They took $4 off a $36 meal.
This has to be the WORST, feeble attempt to fix a problem.

Great place for friends and food. I ate outside on the patio, very nice. Noticed there was a Salad Bar as well as a Bar inside. Waitress was super friendly and attentive.I'll be visiting again next time I am in town.

The food at The Corner Grub House was excellent, but the service was absolutely outstanding! We had Seph as our server, and he truly went above and beyond to make sure our family had the best experience possible.
He was professional, quick, respectful, and very polite. It’s rare to receive such attentive and genuine service these days.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience — and if you can, ask for Seph. You won’t be disappointed!

This is a really great place to grab a bite to eat. As soon as I walked in with my friends we were greeted with hellos from all around. It was very clean and out waitress was very nice and attentive to our needs. I recommend Corner Grub House if you're coming through Sulphur Springs and have time to sit down and eat.

The outdoor seating area at Corner Grub House was beautiful, with a fantastic view overlooking downtown Sulphur Springs. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick, and the beer was served ice cold — a great start to the evening.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite measure up. My steak, ordered medium rare, first arrived closer to medium to medium well. After sending it back, it came out medium. I also found a piece of plastic wrap in my broccoli. While the baked potato was fine, the steak’s flavor was underwhelming, especially for a filet.
That said, the atmosphere and service helped make the visit enjoyable overall. With a little more consistency in the kitchen, this spot could really shine.

We went there for lunch today order an appetizer that came out fine. However after 30 minutes the waitress finally came over to ask if we are still good not to get our order or anything. Asked for the bill. Bc at this point I was over and still had to wait a good bit to get that! Wasn’t happy about our experience today what so ever. Usually service is great. Today it wasn’t even busy so not sure what the problem was.

We could not get waited on after being seated and presented with menus. It was approximately 3:00 PM and not a particularly busy time.
After 15+ minutes of watching other customers come in and get orders taken and food served, we attempted to hail wait staff.
An older lady waiting on an adjacent table twice ignored us When we remarked that surely they remembered seating us, she did not acknowledge our comments or send someone to check on us.
There were several wait staff visible about 20 feet away that appeared to be wiping and wrapping silverware. I waved, and even waved my menu in the air a couple of times in their direction in an attempt to get their attention.
Finally, frustrated, and hungry, we departed after nearly 20 minutes. After we drove away, my wife called and spoke with person who identified themselves as the manager who offered us better service if we returned. We opted to go some where else as we already a mile down the road.
We have eaten at The Cornet Grub House a number of times in the past and have never had a bad experience until now.
After this I am not sure if we will ever be back. As Seniors our resources are limited and to “eat-out” is a treat. In the past the Corner Grub House was probably about 20% of all of our outside restaurant visits .

First time here and definitely worth leaving the highway for. Food was fresh, well seasoned, everything prepared on site and not frozen then fried. Making plans to come again.
If there were an option for no stars I’d choose that. The owner is very arrogant and our food was inedible. We took it home for our pups but they wouldn’t even eat it.Filthy facility. There was hair in the gravy on my chicken fried steak .
