Babes BBQ offers great Texas BBQ in a roadside shack setting. It is an old gas station converted into a cozy restaurant that features historical pictures and decorations. The Sampler with Mac&Cheese and Cole Slaw was delicious, and the smoked ham was amazing. The brisket had a nice smoke ring, and the green beans were flavorful with chunks of ham. The Mac n Cheese was creamy, and the 'tater salad was good, though it could have used a touch more mustard for zest. The staff can be a bit forgetful, but they are gracious with portions. Some menu items may be sold out later in the day, but the food quality and smell make it worth a visit. The sauce was well made, and the sweet potato, veggies, and drinks were very good. Despite a few minor issues, Babes BBQ is a place that will definitely be revisited to try more of their menu.
