“I stumbled across this bbq gem during my travels. It was a bit out of route, but I'm so glad I tried it out! Let me tell ya something. Best damn 20 dollar bbq meal I've had in a long time! The meat was like butter coming off the bone! Get you some!”

“Myself and some friends are on a cross country trip and ended up being stuck in this little town for part of an afternoon and went to pick up lunch at the closest place. We all agree that our burgers were in the top 5 burgers we’ve ever had. Absolutely amazing. The owner was working the window and was super friendly and even gave us a couple pies as is their tradition for a first time visitor. I hope to find an excuse to one day venture the 1759 miles from my house to Bowie, Texas, just to have one of these burgers again.”

“We had Boom daddys for supper tonight! We got the burger baskets and they were 10 out 10! We also tried the queso tonight to dip our tots in and it was delicious! They always get our order right and my favorite part is the surprise rewards we get at check out every now and then! Just had the husband go back to get dessert! Thank you Boom Daddys!”

“Great place located downtown of bowie. We come here with our grandchildren and the staff are really great with our young kiddos. My opinion its the best pizza in town and really big portioned pastas we always have leftovers. The kids are obsessed with their Nutella pizza so we make sure to get one everytime we come. They play great music as well. I highly recommend trying this place you won't be disappointed.”

“Helpful staff. Yesterday (1-28-24) my husband was at the Sonic Bowie location. His vehicle wouldn’t start…. a male staff person noticed and offered to help ‘jumpstart’ his vehicle. (It was around noon and we think his name was Josh). Kiddos to Josh!”

“Disappointed in our to go order we picked up today. Ordered kids cheeseburger and 2 onion strings appetizers which was $25 and some change. Get order home and opened the 2 onion strings only to find that there was the smallest portion of onion strings in each order for an appetizer. These are supposed to be appetizers and there wasn't even enough for a side. Was charged basically $18 for these.Called and talked to Mia who was helpful and said she would contact the manager. I took a picture of order as soon as we opened. Called back to be informed that if we brought the food back in would be the only way to receive a refund despite having a picture. We live 20 minutes from The Rack so not just a quick trip back. Over charged and shorted on order but I should bring it back. Don't think we will order from here again.”

“Worst restaurant in Bowie. Avoid at all costs. Used to spend $20-50 every week here. For 2 years, closed every time I go. Learned this is b/c owner refuses to pay minimum wage or work there. Tried for last time today, found sign taped to window saying they're closed after 4pm.”
