“This place is a gem and I wish we had something similar in my town! Order when you walk in, self serve drinks and soup. Food is unbelievably good and fresh. When you are finished you clean up your own plates. It runs so smoothly. Restaurant is small but not too small. The employees are friendly. Give it a try!!”

“Went in today with my Wife and Son. I went old school and was not disappointed. I odered berria and it was off the hook. Spoke to the owner and it was a golden moment. “This was my first time to try a smoothie from Scooter's. I had heard good things!! But today I actually got one... It was fantastic! I had a matcha smoothie with vanilla protein. It was superb! I was sad when I got to the bottom of the cup. I will definitely go back when I'm treating myself!!The service was great too. The hot sauce they have was the right heat and accented the tacos perfectly. I gave my picky 3 year old a choice between sausage egg and cheese or chorizo egg and cheese. “Today some friends and I stopped in La Familia. We had passed it many times and finally decided today was the day to try it out. We were floored by the gorgeous pastries that greeted us as we walked through the door. We all tried a little something sweet today and have plans to go grab some of their homemade tortillas soon.”

I did not give got my bar drink before our food come out just to due to speediness of the kitchen. The food was so flavorful and delicious. We did ask for hotter salsa which we received but we were not informed it was going be $3 per each serving. It would have been nice to know before we asked for a few for the table and asked for one to go for our leftovers. Our server was nice and quickly for the most part. We had ask the server for our bill and then we had to ask two other staff members and the bartender to get us a bill of waiting over 5 minutes since asking for our server for the bill.”

“This is the classic "main street bbq" place. I ate there on a Friday and the line was already 15 people deep. I went basic with a sliced brisket and sausage plate with double beans as a side. I could have eaten a second plating. The lady coming around with the rolls does a good job making sure seated guests are taken care of. I will definitely stop in for a meal next time I am in Bridgeport.”
