Absolutely everything we tried here impressed us immensely. Obviously, this is a neighborhood and family favorite, demonstrated by several items being sold out by 10:30 am. Tried poppy and sesame bagels, one a pizza bagel, the other a Lox with roasted garlic cream cheese, minus the salmon. The chocolate rugelah was butter and flakey and to die for. Will be coming back again!

Recommend the food, but just need a little better customer service at point of sale. Have tried Casper twice. Both times bagels were good and other baked goods to go were GREAT. I see the staff prepping food hustling and make a real tasty tuna with dill, but I’ve gotten the same cashier twice who really just was not pleasant or into selling the food. Overall, there is a lot of good there and the place is cute and bright with indoor/outdoor seating. Appreciate the ownership response and look forward to more baked goods.

Very good bagels but inexcusably rude cashier. I won't be back.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time, so I decided to try everything. I got an egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. I was saddened to see it was just an over hard, lacy fried egg on a bagel. Not my thing but I’m sure some people would find it good. I also tried the rugelach, kombucha, and kimchi…

Great location to meet for a quick (delicious) bite! I had the jalapeno bagel but I'd love to try their lunch options too. They don't have decaf coffee but you can go next door and bring it back to Casper's if you like.Dietary restrictions: Vegan cream cheese!

A really cool spot that is sort of hard to notice! Not a lot of indoor seating but enough! Love that it’s next door to Stouthaus. The Salmon Lox was absolutely delicious! I got chive cream cheese and an everything bagel. Service wasn’t impressive. Holly, who took my order was just meh. Not necessarily rude or anything, just didn’t feel welcomed, I asked how she was doing and no response. No smile. But aside from that - I will definitely be coming back to try some of the other menu items!

Went for lunch and because I wanted to try out sourdough bread. I ordered a turkey sandwich as well as hummus to share. The focaccia on the turkey sandwich was a bit too dense, but I really enjoyed the sourdough and hummus.Went on one of the few cold days in Austin and it was really cold inside, Im guessing the place isn't built for heat.

Had the Kimchi Tuna Melt which lived up to its reputation as their signature sandwich and a truly mouth watering experience. Also enjoyed their everything bagel slathered with garlic cream cheese, tomato, onion, and a lots of lox on top. Swished it down with their very tasty in-house fermented kombucha. If you’re into scratch-made, extremely fresh food, look no further.

Cinnamon roll- our first time to go several months again they actually had a real cinnamon roll and that was absolutely fantastic, hell we got two of them! Now they’ve taken a short cut and sell a version of a cinnamon “cake” and just cut off a corner slice and it looks like a cinnamon roll but just a hint of icing, smh. It’s just a piece of cake with cinnamon likings. Oh well… this was the 3rd time in a row so clearly it’s the direction they are going. thanks for the last piece of cake.

Never been here in person but I had a sesame tahini cookie at an event last night from Casper Fermantables and it was INSANELY good. Heard of these guys but now I have to go make it over there. Because it's sesame and tahini, it's super healthy, right? RIGHT?!

Best goodies in town, so freaking yummy I can't even tell you. The focaccia with turmeric sauerkraut ($7) is to die for and I will always get some to go! All their bagels are sourdough and come in a variety of flavors like poppy, plain, sesame, jalapeño, everything, etc. I got the lox bagel ($14) and it was the best I've had in town as it has the perfect amount of chew!Highly recommend everything they sell here, from baked goods to kombuchas. They also post up on Saturday mornings at the Sunset Valley farmers market, if you ever wanna stop by and check out the other local vendors.

This place feels very unwelcoming for some reason. I've been here three times for a simple Kombucha and don't feel welcomed at all for such a simple order. Not sure if just ordering Kombucha is frowned upon or something. I don't think I'll be returning here. It's a shame because the Kombucha is not bad, but bottled is just as well fine.My order today wasn't ever fresh pour. Just a recup form an abandoned order previously.EDIT: Oh so it is just how they are here. Extremely rude service is the norm it seems. I thought I was just taking things the wrong way.
