Ahh.. we wanted to like this spot.. started off good.. greeted and seated immediately.. we had a couple of people checked on us on our table throughout..
The issue we had was.. we saw the sign right outside the door about Sunday specials.. when we got seated we asked our waitress and idk if it was a language barrier issue or the demeanor was if she didn't wanna be there, or just not friendly.. she mentioned about the drink special and we specifically asked for a brunch menu and she said there wasn't one.. ok.. we proceeded to order our drinks and then our food from the regular menu..
Both our plates came with tortillas.. corn for me, flour for my bf.. arrived in the same container.. no biggie.. our plates were big portions and delicious.. but only 2 tortillas came with each plate.. we kindly asked for extra tortillas, no problem, they arrived..
We were getting ready to pay and we see the table next to us getting pancakes.. remember, as specifically asked for a brunch menu and was told there isn't one.. we asked again and long and behold, the waitress gave us one.. definitely disappointing and infuriating at this point.. furthermore, when we looked at our receipt before handing over our card to pay, we were charged extra for the tortillas.. I don't mind paying for extra stuff but not telling us prior is unacceptable also because I could have wanted more or less than what our waitress gave us.. she made that choice for us..
Guy behind the bar who also visited us and said hello to our table was very nice, but unfortunately, this was our first and last visit..

Food was good as usual but lunch service was a new level of bad.
It was a very simple order of flautas with no crema, and unsweetened iced tea, and a crispy taco on the side.
The meal came out covered in queso, without the Crema, but also without pico , also I just went back to sans taco. So I asked for a knife since I couldn’t pick them up without getting my hands covered in cheese and asked about the taco .
So the waitress walked to the back to put in the taco order and I assume get the knife but when she came out, she went to other tables as my food started getting cold so I asked one of the other waiters for a knife which he got .
When I got the bill for some reason, adding a crispy taco to flautas is seven dollars but when you add it to the enchiladas, it’s three.
Overall, a really rough experience.

The food was flavorful but was overpriced especially given the smaller portion sizes. Also, no complimentary chips and salsa were included which was disappointing, I have never had a restaurant charge for that. The service was good but I wouldn't recommend if you are really hungry or want reasonably priced Mexican food.

OMG, yum! Wonderful surprise breakfast! The Chilaquiles were FABULOUS! Hubs had the Huevos Rancheros and said they were great too. Highly recommend!

Long wait to be seated as there was no one at the front desk. No complimentary chips and salsa. Chicken fajitas were average at best. Water must be difficult to come by because you only get a tiny glass and they're not eager to provide refills. Overpriced. Bad service, average food. I wouldn't go back.

I stumbled upon this gem near my hotel during my trip to Austin for a wedding.
I had a late breakfast here, and the chorizo migas were absolutely delicious.
I wish I had a place like this back home.

Their food is really good. The Carnitas torta is a must try, and I’m a sucker for Tex-Mex cheese enchiladas and they do an excellent one. It’s relatively expensive, though, and the pricing is weird. For example Tex Mex cheese enchiladas on the main menu are now $17. If you want to add a crispy beef taco, it’s an extra $3. But then at lunch, they have a $14 special for the exact same Tex Mex enchiladas… but if you want to add a taco to that, they force you to order off the main menu. So at lunch adding a taco becomes a $6 diff which is pretty steep. Just make it $3. And if you want chips and salsa, it’s another three bucks. So when I’m craving my occasional TexMex enchiladas, it’s hard not to ask myself do I go to Maudie’s around the corner or do I drive another 10 minutes to Cruzteca and pay $15 extra after tip (literally double) for the most basic Tex-Mex setup? I guess I think it’s worth it because I keep going back, but I can see how a lot of people wouldn’t.
Food was good! Google maps said they accept Apple Pay (NFC mobile payments) and that turned out to be incorrect which was not ideal. But apart from that it was solid
Cold food, no chips salsa provided as part of meal, small space, sat next to three-2 tops pulled together-loud group, flautas charred and hard to cut with cheap single stamped out fork, no knife or spoon offered. Taste was average but rice and refried beans were bland. Price was above other establishments of same type menu in general area.

The food was delicious, fresh and flavorful. The Esquite was delicious and the Cochinita Pibil was out of this world.

Tables are pretty close together and the place was packed (for good reason!) so it was a little noisy but the food and service definitely made up for the tight seating!

The nicest people! Such a breath of fresh air to be treated so kindly. Salsa was the bomb.com and the margaritas were perfect. Family owned and they were all there working at their small business. Much respect

Amazing all around! The tacos were outstanding, and the staff was so kind and helpful. This was our second year having them at our party, and we’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!
