Ike's Love & Sandwiches

Ikes is a great option for vegetarians. Rarely do you see a restaurant with a specific section for meatless options, let alone good ones! The bread is crunch and slightly sweet and works well with all of the toppings. The variety of meatless options is a true rarity and greatly appreciated!

I normally like this place but today I went inside instead of ordering online. I accidentally grabbed the wrong bag of food and the blonde chick working legit yelled and scolded me for a simple mistake. I won’t be going inside anymore cause that was a wild reaction. I used to work at which witch and when stuff like that happened, I DID NOT yell at people. That’s for sure. Wish I could take my tip back :(

This location is filthy! They need to close for a few days and deep clean everything. The grime on the light switches alone shows how little attention to cleaning that’s happening here.

I ordered the Luigi with the Dutch crunch. Bread was the best meatball sub sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life. I cannot believe I’ve never eaten here before definitely would be taking my whole family back.

The staff is not trained to make bowls here.. 2 times since ordering a bowl here via Uber eats the staff forgets what goes into the meal, no lettuce, no sauce, a slither of meat. For $20 you get an empty bowl of scraps this is unbelievable.

I have placed three orders now with Ike’s and the food is always great. They have a large selection of sandwiches and the Dutch Crunch bread is amazing! I feel like the prices are a little high for a sub sandwich, but I keep coming back, so I guess it’s worth it. Lol

Used them for a Supervisor's only meeting. I normally suggest Ike's when they request sandwiches. Ya'll had one job! The bread was stale and the sandwiches were too wet. Epic fail for a fairly large meeting and decent amount of money literally wasted. Bye Bye Ike's 👋 neva again smh

We got delivery via DoorDash, so I can’t speak to Service or Atmosphere, but the sando’s were 10/10! I hadn’t had Ike’s in line 15 years back in California so I am very pleased to know about their presence in Austin! The sandwiches pictured are the Da Vinci and Hot Momma Huda. It’s expensive, basically $20 a sandwich, but they are good enough for two meals.
