We randomly stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and had a really great experience. The owner and family clearly care very much about providing top notch service and food to their guests. Everything we ate was delicious. Their handmade pickles were amazing and we really enjoyed the brisket as well! Next time we will try the brisket quesadillas. They were sold out today so clearly a popular option! Definitely go here!

I am all about some good bbq and especially local family restaurants I just love! You can definitely tell that the owners care a lot about meeting customers needs. If I had to describe in one word how the food tasted it would be **Deliciousness** every bite was so good. Definitely some good brisket. The corn was so creamy and had great flavor as the beans did as well. And I have got to say they portions are great a lot of places you don’t get what you pay for but to me this is enough and more! Great place to dine in friendly and welcoming! We got take out, it was great food. It was very fast only like 15mins tops and we had our food. I barely got a picture of the food before my boyfriend and I dug in cause the smell on the car ride home was just so good. 👍 thank you

First and foremost, let me say these people are very good down to earth kind hearted people! The salt of the earth! Very hard-working, thoughtful people! It’s rare to find hooks for your bag in the bathroom and a toilet seat that encourages little ones to not fall in! If you think they’re thoughtful in the bathroom, just wait till you try the food! The best brisket I have purchased in Texas! The cook is humble and will deny it was him, but we see you! Great experience! oh and the best part they love dogs!

Had a wonderful lunch here while we were passing through the country!! Everything was delicious.. from the brisket to the mushroom burger!! Wonderful friendly owner and staff!! Wish we lived closer, would become a regular! One of the better restaurant finds while traveling! Yes.. as per previous review, still dreaming of the burger!

Oh my goodness! I was skeptical of some of the rave reviews but it definitely lived up to them…I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was definitely the best burger I’ve ever had in Wise County and better than most places in the Metroplex. It was seasoned to perfection, the bacon crispy, real cheese and a perfect size. French Fries were also perfectly seasoned and crisp. Husband had two meat combo with sides. The brisket was tender and flavorful…Okra was so good! We will definitely be coming back again! Hoping they stay consistent because we loved it. We can’t wait to try other menu items and the buffet the owners were telling us about. By the way they were so nice and you can tell they know good food!!

We stopped and ate here on our way home today, and let me tell you I have NEVER had better bbq in my life. I honestly didn’t even want to stop here because I’m not a huge fan of bbq, turns out I just haven’t had the best options! But this one is our new go to on our way to and from Oklahoma from now on and the husband agrees! (my man is a food critic😂) If you’re in that direction, TRUST ME, stop by and you’ll thank me later.🔥🔥🔥 I got a brisket sandwich, my husband got a double bacon cheeseburger! I tried his as well and the burgers are unlike any I’ve ever had.

Honestly didn't expect much of this bbq spot in the middle of seemingly no where but I was absolutely blown away by the phenomenal service, delicious food and wonderful atmosphere, I'm never going to say no to a place with lots of signs! From the moment I stepped in to the moment I left I felt like I was in someones home. This is really a remarkable restaurant that I would 100% recommend to meat lovers and will definitely be coming back to. 🫶

Great food & awesome service too!! Our favorite was the jalapeno cornbread!! 🤤 Reminded me of our Granny's. The brisket grilled cheese sandwich was really good. Also loved the potato salad. The location is so convenient to jump off the hwy. The employees were so, so sweet & friendly!
