The service was slow, but there was one server handling the whole large dining room. We filled the time with a very good margarita and chatting. I ordered fried flounder and my companion ordered shrimp in creamy pasta sauce. Both were very good. This is one of the best places I’ve eaten in Surfside (since the Red Snapper closed.)

Place is fun and has a great vibe, however the food is pricey and below expectations.
Ordered grilled flouder for my son, no seasoning, took a long time and it came with seasoning. Ok, mistakes happen. Server took it back and after a long wait it came with grilled flounder no seasoning but it looked like it was grilled in cold iron, it was greasy and undercooked. I asked for fried catfish as a replacement and it was ok. Still greasy but a big portion.
Now, on the good side, it is one of my favorite places for a drink overlooking the ocean. The area under the restaurant is very nice too.
I will be back but probably just for drinks.

This place is casual and friendly. The food is excellent and our server, Colton, was top notch. The weather was mild this evening so we elected to sit on the back deck and look out over the ocean. I had a grilled chicken salad with vinaigrette dressing. It was big enough to feed four people! It was wonderful.
My partner in this venture is a chicken fried steak aficionado. He has tested steaks all over Texas. He declared this one his new favorite. It was tender enough to cut with your fork, and the crust was delicate and crisp. He declared it excellent! There is a large selection of seafood dishes but also some home cooking favorites if you're not in for seafood.

Ate here this afternoon. Despite the reviews I am glad I gave it a chance. Our waiter Seth was awesome. Now onto the food, the Rockefeller oysters 6.5/10 flavor was just a tad bit on the safe side. All I could taste was cheese and spinach.
New Orleans Snapper 7/10 very rich and creamy, adding a little bit of Cajun seasoning to it would make this dish amazing. Fried flounder and shrimp 8.5/10 really good.
Hurricane drink is good and has a bite. If you don’t like alcohol taste don’t get it.

Sketchy sketchy vibes here… bartenders looking us up and down the whole time… card was never given back to me & each bar kept closing every 30 mins until everyone was only in the upstairs bar at 10:30 pm.

Crowd was another sketchy issue, but overall… not a great experience. I will say Seth was super sweet and a great server!!! Cam the man & Colten also great customer service — glass half full!

Its exactly what I would expect it would be like when you see it. The food was decent(nothing to write home about) and did its job. Drink was really good (did its job too lol).
The only main complaint was everybody had to yell to talk because the music was super loud. Even the server apologized to us a few times. But if you are out having a good time with some friends or family and getting some drinks on the beach, the place is perfect and fun.

Convenient is the best part. Service is very hit or miss, depending on your server. Either on the ball…or on the run. Mostly, not the best. Food can be good - depends on who is working the back. Atmosphere could be banging, but they don’t do a lot to keep it up. Oysters - top notch.

My husband and I waited 20 minutes for the hostess (standing in front of us) to acknowledge us and seat us. We waited an additional 15 after being seated inside to be offered a drink or greeted. We left after being offered neither. No one wanted to work here and is bothered with patrons stopping in at 9pm. Won’t be returning.

The atmosphere here is geared toward the weekend party vibe. They have a bar area as you walk in then a lot of inside seating with a nice deck overlooking the water. I went on a Monday evening so it was fairly slow. The service was lacking, and I was given the excuse of a large party that had to be taken care of before me. After that it was decent. The food over all was decent, nothing special. The thing to note here is they actually have a disclaimer on their menu that they cannot serve tap water to drink due to water quality on the island, fair enough. The cold boiled shrimp tasted like it had been boiled in that water though, it had a faint after taste of petroleum. I definitely won't be going back.

The Owner Bob Ruined my day.
Came up to my table harassing me , embarrassed me. And came to my table raising his voice and made a fool out of me for going out to eat at his restaurant for my birthday .
He thought I was with another group of people. I wasnt.
I went out to eat alone to to celebrate my birthday.
So my question is do you walk up to every table and raise you voice and upset them just because.
You had the wrong table.

And you came up and made me feel unwelcome on my birthday.
This was my 2nd time at the establishment..

I was trying to go out and spend 150$ on myself for my birthday.

BOB CAME UP TO MY TABLE WITH THE WRONG INFORMATION.
Being rude, ugly and mean making assumptions and accusing me of being with a party of people...

When if fact i came alone to eat alone to celebrate my Birthday!

Today was my birthday. This place completely ruined it.I took myself out to dine alone to treat myself for my birthday. The owner Bob came up to my table thinking I was with another group of people. which i wasnt. He came over being rude, ugly, raising his voice. he had the wrong information. and came to my table where I sitting completely alone getting onto me because of some group of people doing something wrong. I was trying to mind my own business and enjoy a birthday lunch out alone thought I deserved to go out for my birthday. this man was so ugly so rude disnt have any information came to my table treated Me like Trash. thank you so much for ruining the whole Experience. how do you own a business and treat a person coming in I had 150$ to treat myself. you were so ugly and rude I didn't even eat my food I ended up leaving. so wrong to treat people this way for NO reason!!!!!!
