We had a large group, and this place is small, so we actually did a take out order. It was still hot! We all ordered something different, and every dish was flavorful. Only draw back..bring cash, they don't take cards.
The restaurant was highly recommended. A hidden gem in a neighborhood off the beaten path--local place, well worth the visit. The pace is small and cozy, clean, including the bathrooms. The food is from scratch, fresh and delicious. Large portions on the food and the menu has a good variety of items. They don't scrimp on the ingredients in the tacos either. Not greasy. We arrived in Alpine late afternoon, hungry for Mexican and we made our way here. Glad we did! The chips were excellent, the service was friendly, and our meals arrived quickly. The food was good, the portions were huge, and the prices were low. Note that they are cash only.
