After several visits to both locations, this is the best Tex-Mex food in Taylor. Always hot and fresh with great flavor. My one complaint has been their margaritas on the rocks. Yesterday they hit it perfect. Excellent marg that tasted like tequila and fresh lime with slight sweetness. Very nice! Maybe it is the person actually making the marg and some know how and some think it should taste like sugar and soda. It should not!!
The food is always spot on! Fajitas Monarcas is my favorite, a must try. The chicken enchiladas are stuffed with chicken and so good. My daughter’s favorite is the Samy fettuccine. The service is always top notch even when they are busy!

Don't let the big sign out front that says Luigi's Italian fool you. It's Monarchas! I been in Taylor for two years and have tried everything here besides the fried chicken drive throughs and the Stockade place...and this is hands down the best place to eat in town. Great Tex Mex, the burger is solid but you can skip the queso...it's too much like Nacho Cheese. Get the Queso Flamado instead. Great service and super quick! Yum!!
