We hosted our rehearsal dinner at 17th South, and they went above and beyond! From the very beginning, the team was incredibly thoughtful and detail-oriented, they even visited our wedding website and surprised us by using our custom wedding logo on the menus. They also replicated our exact signature drink menu and were not only on board, but excited when I asked if I/we could decorate the space to match our Roaring 20s theme. Upon being seated, they even turned on a 20s Big Band playlist! They remembered details!
Everything looked stunning, the service was seamless, and our guests were so impressed. On top of that, the event minimum was extremely affordable for the level of service and quality we received. I can’t recommend 17th South enough for anyone looking to host a special event they made our night absolutely unforgettable! Also the portion sizes were OUT OF THIS WORLD. 10/10 experience. Thank you so much 17 South!!!

My friend did a 1pm reservation for my birthday. It was absolutely wonderful! The waitress/bartender was so sweet and lovely! I got the eggplant parmigiana and it was delish! It came with veggies and fettuccine alfredo which were so yummy! It was my first time there and I will 100% come back with my hubby and toddler!

The place is beautiful atmosphere amazing and quaint. I had spaghetti and meatballs, it was different so don't expect your typical sauce.. I would say it had a taste like maybe a red wine. I could be wrong about the ingredient. It was good ,just different. crab cakes were good as well

My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. The inside of the restaurant was really nice, and overall the experience was okay. The crab cakes were really good definitely a highlight. I ordered the Ravioli Diablo, and while it tasted great, I was a bit surprised by the portion for the $26 price tag. It came with four shrimp and a lot of chicken, which threw me off since I was expecting more seafood. My husband got the shrimp scampi and only had five shrimp in his dish, he also wished there had been more. Our server was very nice and attentive, which we appreciated. Not a bad experience, just not quite what we expected for the price.

Romantic but needs booth seating to be more intimate. Seats are close to other people for a fine dining restaurant.

17 was recommended by a friend who was meeting her niece from NY who flew into Dallas. We live in San Marcos and we were doing the exact same thing. My niece was arriving just when the kitchen was due to close. They kept it open for us! The waiter, Ryan, canceled an appointment in order to serve us. The food is primarily Italian with fish and burger options. Now, more to the point, the food was the most delicious I have ever had. I have eaten at the Culinary Institute of America and this was beyond anything I have ever eaten there. It was better than any food that I have eaten in Italy. The flavor compositions delighted my taste buds! Everything was homemade and fresh. My cocktail was delight to the senses. My niece‘s lemon drop was the best she ever had. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was just lovely. If you live anywhere near or far, make it a point to visit this wonderful restaurant.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. I really loved this place. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and the live music was awesome. Let’s also add the staff was on point. Especially our amazing waitress Chelsea! We ordered the salmon and clams with mussels. Cooked to perfection. Everything was on point. I would definitely recommend 👌

This is my 3rd visit to have great foods that I've been looking for. The food portion is just rights! I don't have to drive to Austin to get quality foods like this. Today, June 14th. I'm bringing my dad and sister for early Father's Day dinner. We happened to have 4:30pm. reservations, but the restaurant is open at 5pm. Still, the foods are worth waiting for.
