Overall-Very good food truck food with restaurant prices. You can see the prices posted on some of the photos of other reviews here. I paid $15 for a few chicken things and two scoops of rice. After tax and in your face tip request it comes out to almost $20 dollars. You know where else you can eat for $20? Texas Roadhouse gives you a whole lot of food, a huge location with AC, sports and a bunch of young good looking people that “love their job”. lol I know i am comparing very different things but I love both very much, Hawaiian food and Texas Roadhouse. I also love tipping people who actually provide a service like bring me my food, sing me happy bday, ask me if i need anything etc. That is how tips are earned and not like you bought my food, thank you now tip me.Who should go- you don’t mind tip culture that asks for tips while not providing any services and you don’t mind the slightly overpriced menu. You enjoy authentic Hawaii grindz.Who should avoid- You are in a rush to get where you are going. The food taste is great because it is cooked when ordered. That takes time. Tip culture annoys you.

Food was amazing!!! We ordered loco moco and the garlic chicken.. it was Soooo freaking delicious.. chicken was not fatty and hamburger patties perfectly seasoned!! I have my new spot for lunchtime. Thank you 808 grindz ????

808 Island Grillz never disappoints! The did another popup @Spherion Temple. Although it was cloudy and drizzling, Sean and his team brought out the Sun with their delicious Hawaiian dishes. The Garlic Chicken, Fries Noodles and Coconut leche cake are amazing!

After calling them 3 times to find out where they were located today it was well worth the time and the drive(backside of the ER at Baylor Scott & White in Temple TX). I ordered 2 garlic and chicken dis that were fantastic hot, fresh, right about of garlic and crisp. (2) spam masubi if I spelled it wrong pardon me. And 2 of the purple coconut Leche cakes. Everything was amazing no lie I'll be getting food from here more often. I just have to ask is there anyway we can buy the cake whole(the wife loves the purple by the way).

Wow. This place is great. Food is sooo fresh and tasty. My husband is a picky eater so he was a little scared to try it but he LOVED the garlic chicken. And I got the fried noodles and the spam musubi. So delicious! Can’t wait to try something new next time!
The garlic shrimp is the best I have ever tasted (better than Giovanni's shrimp truck on the North Shore). I'm sad I only got one order. Now I have to wait three days for more. See you on Tuesday

ordered the Ube Coconut Leches Cake... and it was by far the best Tres Leches cake that I have ever tasted since living in deep mexico. absolutely amazing.the Spam Musubi are sooo good that they are dangerous , I think I eat them all!!!very impressed and what a nice find while traveling to temple
