Can’t say enough great things about Taste of Texas Family Food. This was my fourth visit and my first time trying the wings. I called my order in and the staff was friendly on the phone and in person. The size of the wings and the amount of seasoning exceeding my expectations. The okra were 12/10. Everything was fresh and hot. I will definitely be returning.

The peach cobbler was nasty. I will never order again. Seems like it had mushy bread in it. I’ve only had it with pie crust. This one was so nasty. I’m mad I wasted my money. It’s too expensive and wasn’t that great. I will just cook my own food.

If you’re looking for down home real cooking just like granny used to make, then I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be going back.

Hate to give such a low review but have to be honest. Lady was very nice and answered all my questions. Food looked great. Mac and cheese looked off and tasted off. Chicken sandwich was spoiled. First bite tasted ok because it was mainly bun and breading. But my second bite was straight into the chicken and it was bad spoiled chicken. I could immediately taste it. What really shocked me is the fact they still cooked the chicken. So either they aren’t using labels/reading labels or they aren’t correctly using FIFO. Glad I didn’t order the sandwich for my kid. They need to do better. Very disappointed. Didn’t go back for a refund. I’ll just never return. Good luck to them but please use better quality and safety procedures for the food especially chicken.

Would 100% recommend coming here. I haven’t been to a food court that makes you feel so welcomed and respected. The beautiful lady and gentleman were so amazing. They made everything fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to come back!!

The (3) fried ribs, sweet potatoes, and cornbread were delicious! However, it felt a bit pricey, considering the little meat ribs do have.
