Was a fairly slow night apparently but the food was really good. The service was slow but ok..nothing bad all in all a nice calm casual meal.

The parking lot seemed full so we stopped here to eat around 6:30pm. Upon entry a little less than half the tables were occupied. The lobby area had 4 customers waiting, and after 2-3 minutes of us waiting at the lobby we had seen no workers apart from a bartender at a mostly empty bar. We left.

Absolutely disgusting. First and foremost be aware of the bartender here. She ate at the bar with her hands and then proceeded to wipe her hands on her pants, never once washing her hands before refilling the prep items or serving drinks. I’m not sure about you, but I’d prefer to not get sick over someone clear lack of hygiene. I wont even mention the twisting of her hair and rubbing her face constantly…. Hope she showered today.

Secondly, when did Applebees stop having a dress code or standards? Wearing a hair bonnet (yes, silk bonnet) or huge jackets while serving food? How about the waiter deciding to stop what he’s doing to start dancing? I mean okay, have fun but let’s give great service first.

Finally, why aren’t the bathrooms heated? Why I am warned by staff that the bathrooms will be cold or have a space heater on a dining table? Who the hell is running this place? I sincerely hope that corporate steps in and makes some changes. As temple grows, this place will quickly become obsolete due to this incompetence.

The food today was lacking at best. They did not have any Air Conditioning, so we were suffocating to the point we cut the meal short and left for the car to have the kids on A/C while my hubby got the check. The waiter said they have been 6 months, since last summer with no A/C. The ice on my soda had black specks every time they refilled it, which makes me suspect they haven't cleaned their ice maker and it developed mold. Honestly, just don't come.

Yes me and my wife came too Applebee's for my birthday too eat i ordered a steak with the 3cheese mac both the steak and the 3 cheese mac was horrible i asked for a well done steak it was very bloody and rubbery the mac noodles were over cooked and the cheese was like they poored milk over it it was so runny that the bacon was floating in it i was really disappointed in hiw they cooked the food and what really makes that restaurant bad the manager didn't even bother too come out the waitress was nice and polite about it so just asked for a refund back i didn't even touch the food im sorry too say Applebee's was my favorite place over the years but now the food has really declined dramatically.

Went to the Temple,Texas location shortly after 4pm. There were three in my party. They were not busy at all. Five small tables of other customers were there in different sections of the restaurant. I saw three waiters and a bar attendant. It took over 8 minutes to get our drinks. A root beer, an unsweet tea and a Pepsi. Should not of taken that long. Our waiter brought the drinks asked if we were ready to order and we said yes. He replied with ok I will be back in a few to get your order. He went in the kitchen door and wasn't seen again for about 10 minutes. He didn't have anything in his hands when he came out of the kitchen. He came and took our order. When the food arrived it was very hot and tasted great. He never came back to ask if we needed drink refills or anything else until he brought us the check. The restaurant never got busy or hectic while we were there. The staff were all in slow motion and seemed like they didn't want to be there. But food was great. Work on your wait staff. It is a little pricey.

We placed an order for pickup this evening at 7:33. The App informed us it would be ready at 7:53. I walked into the restaurant around 8:10 and saw the Togo area was pretty busy and overheard the lady at the register say checks were backed up about an hour, so I went back to the vehicle to wait a while
Longer. I called in around 8:40 after we still hadn’t heard anything and whoever answered immediately said that orders would take an hour. After I said we had waited an hour and wanted to check on the status she said she had no idea if the order was ready or not and that I would have to come In and talk to the Togo person. She was very rude.

We finally got the food around 8:45 after I went in and checked.

The burger was overcooked , but overall food was decent, but the service was terrible

While the wait at the restaurant was brief, I found that the waitress was not very familiar with the menu. Unfortunately, some of the items I wanted to order were either unavailable or required alterations, which was a bit disappointing. For instance, my Bloody Mary lacked vodka and several essential ingredients, and I believe more training could help improve the staff's knowledge of the drink.

When it came to the food, there seemed to be some miscommunication about our order. The chicken wings we received tasted like they were from a frozen bag, and the chicken on one of the plates seemed to have been microwaved. Additionally, the shrimp was overcooked and difficult to enjoy.

I believe that with some improvements in menu knowledge and food preparation, this Applebee location could enhance the overall dining experience. I hope to see positive changes in the future.
