We used to love it here, but every time we order take out or order in it gets worse every time

In the mood for a good drink? Good food, friendly service? From Hanna b our server, to Carrie the manager, to a bartender who knew just what to substitute for sprite in my fishbowl, we had a great meal/drinks tonight!!!!

See my Google review. Tonight was terrible from the moment we were seated to ordering , only to be denied draught beer of any kind and served a cocktail with no liquor in it. We weren’t alone, the table behind us left when drinks were served because there was no tequila in their Corona-Rita. They could not serve a canned IPA or anything except basic bottles and cans of beer. We were told taps would be fixed in a few minutes. Wrong. Wait people were still telling customers it would be fixed in a few minutes, as we were leaving 90 minute later! Waitperson did not have a card machine to check out with except one dilapidated one that she had to manually enter all the numbers into! Burgers were ok but the rest of the experience was awful. Question: Did they lose their liquor license? I can’t think of any other explanation. I feel bad for the wait people and other customers. Obviously neither are important to management. Unlikely I’ll go back.

Back porch has a cool welcoming environment with plenty of tvs for the sports minded people. My favorite dish here is the chicken bacon ranch tacos! Loads of deliciousness in every bite.
Edit: I don't think you can place to go orders over the phone because they never answer. That's s bummer.

When we came in at 11:00 when they were just opening , the hostess said they were out of almost everything and then rattled off a long list of things unavailable . Then our waitress said the only thing we could order was a burger. Not impressed. It was our first time there and we won’t come back.

The service was also bad. Honestly don’t know how this place is in business.

It had been a long day, just wanted a burger and head back to the hotel. Googled best burgers in Temple. This place was the closest to the hotel that was on the list.
They acted like it was a bother for me to be there.

The burger was ok, the sweet potato fries where cold and were probably already cooked twice. I would have sent them back if i knew there was an upcharge. The server looked at me like what the. . . When I asked for napkin, utensils???

I should have read the reviews. Should have gone to McDonald's.

The drinks were great. The service sucked. Sat with empty drinks for over an hour and no service. Ordered an appetizer, which was just okay, but the service was so slow we left without ordering dinner. The bar area was not busy at all while we were there. Other tables around us were complaining as well about the service. The atmosphere and drinks are great but I don’t know if we will return.

We were just passing thru looking for a nice place and we decided on Back Porch. We were highly disappointed! The staff was horrible! Super lazy and it took like 3 servers to bring us drinks because they finally “decided” on who was going to be our server. The food was OK but not great. Never stopping here again!!!!

Place had LOTS of dirty tables when we arrived. 10 minutes to get greeted. Server was kinda scattered around building. Food came quick. Burger was WAY overcooked. No manager visible. Good luck.
