Greetings Citizens of Temple TX area and Belton TX area the restaurant serves food okay but when it comes to applying for a job they say different things. They have terrible communication system with their upper management team. They disrespect applicants. My experience was terrible with them.

I’ve always liked Backporch. Good service and good food. With that being said, tonight my fiancé and I were sat at a table in the bar area. We were sat at about 8:03 and left at 8:17 because not a single soul even acknowledged we were there. We get waitresses or waiters are extremely busy and have a lot to deal with but to not even know the name of your potential waitress in that time frame is crazy.

I've never encountered a resturant with worse service. Last time I went my wife and I sat for 25 mins and never got service so we left. Today I decided to give it another try. Big mistake. Went in and tables were empty except around the bar. Hostess stated that it would be 20-30min wait. I asked why and she stated that they had a group that just came in and ordered food so it would be a while. So the one thing that brings you to a stand still is a group of people coming I'm and ordering? Either the servers are lazy and don't want service or they do not have enough staff. Either way the owners need to check on why their service is horrendous. Avoid!

We came on a Saturday in the afternoon and the food and service was excellent our waitress was jade and she was an outstanding waitress. She was friendly and had a great personality to go with it. Everything was ooookiedokie (per jade) thank you for everything

We had this one server, her name was Sara (HORRIBLE SERVER) she is rude and never attentive. She ignored us multiple times and never came up to our table. We asked for refills and she failed to do a simple task. After we asked another girl, she took over our over our table. Her name was Hannah! Super bubbly and friendly and made the experience so much better overall! If you are to come here, please request Hannah.

I had the pleasure of being served by Jada during my recent visit, and she was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we were seated, Jada was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. She struck that perfect balance of professionalism and genuine friendliness that instantly made us feel comfortable. What really stood out was her attitude—she was upbeat, patient, and handled a busy bare area with calm confidence. Even when things picked up, she never seemed rushed or stressed. You could tell other tables were enjoying her service just as much as we were!

Update ! Came for lunch today and Jada was surprisingly my server again! Same perfect attitude and spirit was as bright as ever once she realized who I was ! Her and the other server on shift, Alexis, were very attentive as both of them would stop by and ask if I needed anything even when Jada was just my server! Thank you backporch for these lovely ladies
