The carne guisada had a weird texture and flavor. Was thick consistancy and tasted like the flour was not cooked out of it. Charro beans needed more seasoning. The salsa was on point.
We been here twice both times the food was really good, didn't have to wait to long for it to arrive. You initially get one basket of chips ( they charge for extras), but if you order a dip, you get a second one. They should just make sure they are full. It's a lovely place over looking the golf course. The music is at a good volume, and I do not have to shout to have a conversation. The second time around, our waitress seemed to be distracted. They charge for paying...
Friends and I were passing through Temple and decided to stop through for a quick dinner. Friday dinner (#14 burrito) special was really great- such a good deal for a filling meal. We had two wonderful servers checking in on our group and they were so attentive & really sweet!
