Highly don’t recommend, food was very bland including the mac&cheese(which was very watery)brisket was very bland and to top it off the sweet tea wasn’t sweet either

Not the same. This was my go to place for bbq! I've been here several times, everything was great. Now it's like they just give you anything! The ribs weren't good at all and my plate was so messy from the greens.

One of the first things you notice when you enter, besides the smiling guests and staff, are the utterly countless trophies and award winning banners. They display them proudly and rightfully so.

Danny and Amy, and their sons are good, honest and hard working , hometown people who I have known for more than a decade. The food is great, prepared for you by champions of BBQ cook offs. They have been there for years and they are the best of the BBQ places in Temple TX. My favorite for BBQ. Try their, brisket, ribs and chicken, then top it off with the pie, or banana pudding! You can't make a bad decision, so just savor your choice of meats and enjoy your meal. This family is a great, generous and sharing family, and Danny and Amy are good friends. My late wife was in the hospital for a whole month when she broke her back, and Danny had seen that I was running myself into the ground to work and then try to be there with my wife. This man told me to come in and get some food, for the rest of her hospital stay, and didn't, and wouldn't take any money for my meals. God bless that family!

Omg best brisket I've ever had. This place deserves a 10/10 forget a 5/5 rating dude. My brisket literally fell outta my sandwich while I was taking bites. The perfect layer of fat on it to give that great flavor. Definitely going back for beef sandwich and potato salad. Totally worth way more than what they charge. Chef's kiss. I'm speechless ??????

I have been here before so was confident at what I would order. Lots of individuals love this place but this is not for me. The sausage was lukewarm and had no BBQ taste. The brisket was bland. I asked for no fat, well there was fat. I was in drive through hence why I didn't check the meat.
I also noticed the individual that cut the meat had gloves on but he also opened the glass window with those same gloves. That means he touched the bun, pickles, onions, and window with the same gloves.
This place was wonderful last time, I don't know what happened. I guess I should've stayed with the turkey.
