April was kind and professional, checked to make sure all was good. I’ve never had a bad experience in the last three years I’ve visited. Employees were busy but did not show stress.

Just watched a girl with dark hair in a ponytail eat fries off someone's plate in the kitchen before serving it to a customer. Absolutely Nasty.
Good breakfast good service.

Seated as soon as we walked in, but once at the table, waited for over 20 minutes, never were asked for drinks or order, but a gentleman behind us, was seated after us, and had his coffee and was asked if he needed anything else. Note, we were a table of two. And the place was Not busy. The other 3 tables in our section were finished with their meals and received their checks

I'm leaving a 1 star because zero isn't an option. The service was good and the food was good. My problem is with the building and if what I was told is true the management.
There was water leaking from the light fixture above our table and it was dripping into my coffee. When I told the waitress she explained to me that it's been an ongoing problem and they had a few complaints about it but nothing has been done. I already contacted corporate and the health department but would like to make others aware.

I have to say this was the best food experience I've ever had at an IHOP.

Traveling to Abilene and was very happy about the service we received! Our waitress, Nas (?), was informative, friendly, patient and energetic! Totally loved her vibe. The food was perfect. I had fresh strawberry with glaze over creme filled crepes! 😋 The chef made them PERFECT! Oh yeah, the they have either ESP or super power hearing 😁 Before we could ASK for creamer, there she was with a handful. Then, my cousin wanted some pecan syrup and BOOM the other lady POOFed in from the right hand side with the syrup! Like a ninja! Needless to say, I was impressed with everything! ... and I'm a tough cookie to impress! I highly recommend going here and tip that waitress!! IG: GodSentRed

Subpar service, food dying in the window and coming out cold, and fried foods sopping with grease to the point of "puddles" of grease on the plates.

My boyfriend travels for work and we decided to stop and eat here. My boyfriend ordered a chicken fried steak with medium well eggs. The eggs were very much over cooked. I ordered a avocado toast, the toast was soggy as well as only 4 small pieces of blacken avocado. My boyfriend said he'll tell the waiter and I replied no, due to her miserable attitude. She only came to check on us once and that was only when she came to bring us a check. Mind y'all it was 4 in the morning so it definitely wasn't busy. Before we left we added a strawberry milkshake (should've known better) it was completely liquidity. I don't know what was worse the food or our waitress. We have eaten at a lot of Ihops but this one is top tier the worst one we been to!
