I work the night shift so I show up around this shop's opening time when I get off and they're always nice and the food is always good! I either grab something for me or something for my family and everything is fresh and served quickly!
I was on my way to San Antonio from Arlington, when traffic was detoured due to an accident. I stopped when I saw the donut shop. The donut I chose didn't have any filling for that particular donut. Jill (Jack & Jill, lol) offered to fill it for me...yummy. The breakfast croissant was very good also. My new stop by on my drive home from Arlington.
The food was amazing! My husband says the boudin kolache was the best he has ever had. Flavorful boudin with just the right touch of cheese to be a compliment, balanced by the light/ fluffy bread and a touch of sweetness on the outside. We will be going back the next time we head through Temple!
P.S. the family all had great things to say about the doughnuts they ate as well. I ate the boudin kolache.
