Not impressed! Service was awful and food presentation was lacking. Food was not good and very greasy. Very disappointing! Then stood at a register to pay and the lady would not even acknowledge me. She kept counting her money as if I was not there. She was not friendly at all.

Great Rolls! MacNcheese recipe from heaven. Beef in the chickenfried steak was real beef, portions not ridiculous, but I still needed a little box to take home tomorrows appetizer. If I return to temple, I WILL return to eat here! Not a quiet romantic hideaway, it's a crowded, loud, family, old school diner, like it has been for decades. Fun

Wonderful food, lots of great fried options including fabulous chicken fried chicken. The portions csn be huge here, like the fried catfish! We had yummy chili and fried Twinkies!

Old Jody's is a step back into what Texan dining was decades ago. The old café in town everyone stopped at before the Friday night football game. The menu is full of Texan favorites, a lot of it fried, and the décor is rustic and down home. This is a real treat for Texans looking for nostalgia or foreigners who want a real taste of old Texas.

Ordered my food to go, waited outside in the parking lot for about 45 minutes just for an App& drink. and when they finally came out with my drink it was only field three force of the way. They thought that was acceptable to serve. If I pay full price I would like to get a full cup please and thank you.

Unfortunately this restaurant has closed, sadly after so many years of operation. But when it was open, the food was good, the atmosphere was friendly, although prices were slightly expensive. My family and I enjoyed eating here. One the bright side though, the bar and grill side of Jody's is still open and the comments carry to this restaurant also.

This is not the Jody’s it used to be. Nothing was hand battered, the gravy was obviously made from a box and the hamburger was a frozen patty. Sooooo disappointed. I’ve been eating here for as long as I can remember and I think this might have been the last time.
Very good service and the food was great. Nice casual dining experience.

Went for supper. Never got our burgers and fries. Was told the ticket was lost after our fried pickles came out. Sat for about 10 minutes before we ever got drinks then another 15-20 before our order was taken. And left with no food. Waitress blamed her co-worker and said she would "pay for" our ticket. How about y'all hire more help?
