Really enjoyed eating here for the first time with my family. The atmosphere and the workers reminded me of old diners back home in Georgia and it really made us feel at home. The food was absolutely amazing but what really made my day was one of the older ladies working there brought a plate to someone who was homeless and it really made my heart swell up. I knew then this was a family oriented restaurant and this establishment welcomes anyone with open arms and no judgement to whomever walks through their doors. God bless this place and their workers. I can’t wait to come back.

First time there and I loved it! I told my Aunts yall have been coming since yall were young many moons ago and just now brought me here?! All my life going to Temple to visit family and no one told me... 😆! As soon I walked up to the place I heard oldies and I knew oh this gonna be good! The food was very good, the staff and service was good too and it has that good ole country home cooked meals atmosphere. Plus they played oldies and other good old school jams...thank God. Cuz not many places play oldies no more. I definitely will be seeing more road trips to Temple, I already see my family there and now I can enjoy a good place to relax too.

I came in town early for a doctor's appointment, so I can eat at an older local restaurant. I wasn't able to eat here since I only brought my credit card with me. They only take cash or checks, and you can't withdraw money from a credit card using an ATM. It's too bad the food looked really good.

I’ve been going to Jody’s a long time. Some of these negative reviews blow my mind. The chicken fried steak is the best I’ve ever had. I’ve had it in many places across the state. Nothing but great food, atmosphere, and wait staff. Anytime I’m in Temple I hit up Jody’s.

Really upset about how my salad turned out tonight the fact I've been here before and the salad was great makes me disappointed I was shorted for a full salad and it just didn't like good to eat super rushed and not appealing😔 it was so much better looking last time...the ranch is always good
