We went in today with a large group. The staff were very friendly and are good came out at a good time. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back! these ladies need a raise:).

Food was amazing and the customer was stellar, constantly checking to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. 10/10 will be returning soon!

I drove all the way from Ennis and wasn’t disappointed. If you haven’t stopped by yet, it’s a must.

The gentleman would not accept my order and it was only 7:45pm but accepted another person order that walked in a second before me. I drove from Cove after work which is a 40 minute drive (since the one in Cove is never opened). I couldn't order online, the site was having issues. If you stop accepting orders at a certain time, at least have the professionalism and decency to put that on your website or on the front door. Assuming it was only one cook in the back, the guy said to me “Let me see if the cook is still taking orders”… what?! I’ve come in at this time before and had no issues so it appeared to me they were just ready to go home because they turned the OPEN sign off at 7:50pm.
Again, if you stop accepting orders at a certain time, advertise that but don't pick and choose when you want to accept orders.

Update: While sitting in my car to leave this review, I took a picture of the hours. The lady stopped mopping and comes outside to I guess “intimidate“ me then walks back into the store. Just absolutely unprofessional because what was she going to really do?! Mind you, I’m pregnant as well. Just classless, do better! Hire better staff atp

The only good part about this place is the young Man who greeted us and took our order. Very polite, kind and accommodating. It pains me to leave such a horrible review, yet I feel Management needs to hear about our experience. We were the only Customers inside the restaurant at 1:55pm. We were told the Cook had left the establishment and would be returning within 10 minutes. We decided to stay, then placed our orders. At 2:25pm we were told the Cook was to be back at the restaurant in another 15 minutes. Although on a time crunch, we continued to wait —only because our Debit Card had already been charged $60+ for two plates, plus the 15% tip we left the young Man who greeted us/took our order. He was very apologetic and at 3:10pm, we were given our to-go plates. I want to be clear this young Man was not at fault for the delay in receiving our food, nor the terrible quality of it. The fries were mush, the catfish was black (burnt) and the shrimp was the texture of rubber. We also used the restroom inside the establishment and it was filthy. Please do better and while you are at it, give that young Man a raise. He is the only one holding the establishment to some sort of standard and is definitely deserving of it.

My first time here and my plate looked too good to eat. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp platter which comes with fries. Food came out fresh and steamin hot! RUN! DONT WALK!

Those young ladies were amazing and took care of me like they owned this place. My first time here and it was good!!! My food was sooooo goood!!! Temple don't have the best restaurants, but this place is on point!!! I support local always and I am glad this place is here.

I placed a rather large order, to pick up. The food was awful, first fish was breaded with flour not meal, sweet potato fries was full of grease.. Meals had to be thrown out, too spicy. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone
