Got almost everything on the menu and it was ALL so tasty! The fries are well seasoned, the fried shrimp are crispy and delicious (with a Cajun dipping sauce), delicious BIG cup of gumbo with lots sausage and shrimp, and of course amazing etouffe. We got both the regular and the loaded fries etouffe. It’s a little more on the spicy side, but not overwhelming.
Nice covered patio for seating with lots of family game activities - ping pong, big tic tac toe, a playground, and more.

We are from Kentucky. Googled restaurants in Temple, TX before we came and found this food truck. Visited them this evening in Troy, TX and was not disappointed! Great flavors and excellent service!

Lulamae’s is one of a kind. From the uniquely flavored food which is absolutely delicious. To the owner and the staff. It’s few and far between that you find this special of combination of stellar food and service. Anytime I’m remotely close I will drive out of my way to get some. 20/10 I recommend. I live in Dallas and will stop by anytime I’m driving down south.

Had the crawfish Mac and cheese for the food truck competition. The dishes were not fresh, clearly sitting out for a while. The pasta was overcooked, the dish was dry, and the crawfish was gamey tasting (yes we've had plenty of crawfish before). I imagine if the food was fresh it would have been better, but nobody was ordering from this truck probably because of where it was in the parking lot (or handing out cold food, who knows)...

I tried their gumbo. I know everyone has their own gumbo but what I got was sausage soup. It was a broth with trinity and broth. No chicken, no shrimp, no okra and very little rice. Not my idea of a good gumbo.

SO GOOD. We ordered the crawfish étouffée and the gumbo and I couldn't stop eating it until it was gone. We didn't stay to eat instead just ate it in the car because of the cold weather. Definitely coming back!! Thank you for having good cajun food!
