My wife and I enjoyed hanging out at the bar on a Saturday night while checking out downtown Temple nightlife. It’s a great bar with a decent assortment of beers on tap. We were especially happy to find Smithwick’s on tap. The bartenders - Shelby and Skyla (I apologize if I misspelled!) were great. They gave us lots of info on the bar and Temple in general. The live entertainment that night - James Stone was also very good!

Ordered a few pizzas from here. They were actually really good.. the Irishman pizza is great!! It's slightly thicker than a thin crust.
Gluten-free didn't eat. Fun fun fun, great times there. The band Madstone was fantastic!

Came in for to go pizza and the young lady behind the bar was very upbeat and filled me in on the live music. From a guy who may not drink anymore....they are still very welcoming. Will be back for dinner and the young lady musician in mid Sept.!

Listen, I’m from Boston — basically the Irish-Italian capital of the world — and lemme tell ya, this place is the bomb.
The poutine? Tastes like it came straight from my local fish shack back home. Burger’s a solid 9 outta 10… could use a touch more sauce, my guy, but you’re doin’ wicked good work here.
This joint? Makes me feel right at home. Glad I stumbled on ya. You’re gonna see my face every week, so just get my order ready.

Tried this place back in April 2025 with my cousin and aunt while visiting my sister at Temple College. Went around 10:30-11pm, food and drinks were really good! It wasn’t really packed for a Saturday night which was surprising. But maybe one day when I’m around Temple I’ll try this place out again!

When I used to live in London, my favorite dish was Bangers and Mash. I never knew I'd be able to find them in Temple, Texas!!! Great pub food rated from someone who has lived in the UK.
