I thought this would be a fine dining experience. They didn't present my table with napkins, but they did present excuses, which were not as useful as the napkins that were clearly present on other tables. They presented my wife with a ravioli that was cold in the center. My chicken Parm was basically a Stouffer's microwave quality meal. I want to support local businesses, but Pignetti's in Temple did not help at all. I tipped, because this level of poor management wasn't the server's fault and they were clearly not well trained on simple tasks. If I decide I want Italian food again, I'm driving to Maggiano's in Austin. I'll pay less and actually have a better experience there. My reviews are not ordinarily this harsh, but honestly, I rarely encounter service this bad at this price point.

First time going here. I went to celebrate my birthday, apart from the food being amazing, the service we received was fantastic. We loved the service from Theresa and how she made us feel comfortable and gave different suggestions about the dishes. Can’t get over their bread with butter :)

We had a delightful visit in all aspects at this restaurant. The server Shaun was amazing in recommending wine and answering questions about menu choices. He had an excellent personality and made the evening most enjoyable with his interactions. We left feeling happy and satisfied with everything, thanks to him.

We went for our anniversary and had a fantastic experience! Sean with the Hat was hilarious and personable and made excellent suggestions. The food was very good, an excellent value for the price. In particular I recommend the mussels and the butternut squash ravioli. The desserts were also top notch. I’m so glad they’re open again!

We had a disappointing experience at Pignetti's Italian Restaurant in Temple. Despite having a confirmed reservation on OpenTable for 7:30 pm for four people (myself, my wife, and our two kids), our visit didn't go smoothly.
I received a confirmation message two hours before the reservation, which I promptly confirmed. Upon arrival at exactly 7:30 pm, we found at least 15 other guests waiting outside on the street. The entrance was crowded due to the bar located immediately inside, making it difficult to navigate through the bar patrons to reach the host station.
After informing the host of our arrival, we were told our table was being cleaned and it would only be a couple of minutes. We were instructed that we'd receive a text when the table was ready. After waiting 30 minutes without any update, I went back inside to check again. The same host assured us they had not forgotten and explained that the table was still being prepared, mentioning the restaurant was extremely busy.
Frustrated by the extended wait and lack of clear communication, we decided to leave. No apologies were offered, and it was clear they absolutely do not care about their customers or honoring reservations. This was a horrible experience at a restaurant we visited to support local businesses. Given this experience, I would rather drive to Waco or Austin instead of enduring such poor service again.
Warning to future customers: Even with a confirmed reservation, be prepared for significant wait times and potential overcrowding near the entrance and bar area.
After this experience, I am sure the quality of food and service is as bad, if not worse.
I work for Central Market these past few years, I haven’t tasted everything yet there but our plates here had great quality ingredients, cooked with love and prestige detail. My taste palate was sending me positive flavor signals, definitely a great place for birthday dinners. Our sever Scarlet was the best :)
Few words can be used to describe this place that houses a very rushed feeling.
From the lack of precision in a reservation, to the lack of care from any person in charge for mistakes made on their part on what was to be a special day.
I have zero desire to return and will gladly venture of of city & county for descent Italian cuisine.
We try to support local, but local eateries in Bell County continue to miss the mark. It's unfortunate, but again, if the owners cared (whom were present) they would have at least acknowledged the situation.

Disappointing experience overall, I had a reservation but was told there were no tables available when we arrived. Waitress never refilled our water or asked if we wanted more drinks. Food was way over salted, greasy, more expensive than necessary, and lackluster. I can understand a busy night and I give plenty of grace for that but honestly this place just isn’t worth spending money to eat at.

Wow! What a gem right there in Temple, TX! My wife and I were traveling through from Waco back to Round Rock and searched Yelp for the best restaurants in town, and this one did not disappoint! Delicious meatball and marinara appetizer, scrumptious lasagna, and delectable truffle and garlic sacchetti pasta. Several other items on the menu that look delicious, but they will have to wait until a return visit, which we will definitely do soon. But let me tell you about their wine list. I though the wine-by-the-bottle list in the regular menu was pretty decent for a small Texas town restaurant, and found several wines on there that were highly rated and all were priced right as great values. But then I found out they have an entirely separate DEEP wine cellar app available on an iPad. OMG! I could not believe the length and breadth of this selection. There is a very strong reason they have years-upon-years been a recipient of recognition by Wine Spectator as great wine restaurant. The service provided by our waiter was excellent. He was very attentive and on point. We also got to meet and talk with the restaurant's owner, Clinton Harwell, who strolls through and greets customers and asks how their experience has been. Many very nice touches here. I strongly recommend this place!
