02/22/2024 1315 hrs, 1:15pm Horrible Experience. Being of Czechoslovakian decent, I have been trying to stop at Tanglefoot since 2023, but my VA appointments never lined up, until today! I was so excited to see that the Open sign was on enroute to I-35. I was excited to see what kind of Dark Lagers, beers they offered. Unfortunately, I never got to ask, or purchase their product(s). WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. I wonder if I had been treated differently if I was not a female; who knows ? The Tanglefoot employee hastily walked in front of me, Quickly Raised his Hand into my Face, stopped me and blocked me from entering. I was immediately told that myself, and my Dog were not allowed in, then he hastily walked away. and stormed off as I asked him, "not even a Service Dog?" I just stood there dumbfounded, sooo what could I do? I had no other recourse, I turned around and left. AND NO, the gentleman did not address, or tried to talk, or interact with me in any way, nor manner, nor form. He just hastily walked off, and absolutely did not mention any kind of patio!? Went to turn on a sign, that was already turned on?these are untruthful replies, statements regarding his rebuttal to this rating; lies. This guy, with Just a look of inconvenience, possible disgust; a scowl on his face? Directed towards myself? and AGAIN HIS HAND in MY FACE halting me, then storming off as I was asking him "even a Service Dog?" You, sir other than this issue, never said anything else. and Sir, This has Everything to do with SERVICE of the Tanglefoot Establishment. Trying to back-peddle this issue is in vain, and say untruthful things, "Tried to Tell Me? is a LIE!? and shows your level of integrity. This business is NOT ADA Service Dog, Animal compliant. But it. Might be now that thee owner, you have been called out. So much for this place. My money will be better spent at a Better Brewery. In case anyone is wondering. I don't do posts for freebies. I just write TRUTHFULLY about my experiences. This experience was Utterly Horrible. A simple sign on Tanglefoot's door (would be nice): "Service Animals, and Dogs, Pets are not Allowed Entry" IT's MUCH BETTER THAN a HAND in YOUR FACE! This is what it is. You are who you are. I truly hope you are always Blessed and treated as I had been. I do wish you all the best in all your endeavors.

I would have never guessed I'd run into a Czech lager brewery in Texas of all places. ?Tanglefoot had 4 beers on tap and they were all Czech lagers. I had the pleasure of sampling all they had to offer and was impressed by them all. The only time I have seen all four Czech BJCP beer styles in one place is when I have judged competitions.If you're a beer n*** like me or just enjoy a crisp lager on a warm day, you've gotta check this place out! ?

I tried this wonderful brewery where the owner/brewer makes delicious Czech beers. They are crisp, fresh lagers that are at least as good (if not better) that what you can find in Prague. I got to try all 4 lagers available, which were two pales, an amber, and a dark beer. All were great. I can't wait for my next visit to Temple so I can hit it again.
