We absolutely love The Commonwealth! The food and drinks are always top-notch - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented every time. The staff is attentive, and truly makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. As members, we look forward to our weekly visits - it’s become our favorite spot for both relaxing and connecting with others. It’s the perfect place for networking, casual client meetings, or just enjoying great company in a beautiful atmosphere.

Atmosphere is great. Host was great. The peachy flatbread, chicken fried steak, and Brussel sprouts were great. Stay away from the southwest salad, it was tasteless. We were there until close so we got offered dessert right away, told them we were OK that we had cake, no plates or forks were brought, but a togo box was offered and we never saw her again. I get it we were there until 8:05, sorry it was a Sunday and yall close at 8. Maybe its just me but I find it also a little crazy to still charge $40 per hour with giant cracks/humps on the courts for pickleball. Just a thought.

I had the Salmon salad. The salmon was the best I have ever eaten! My husband had the chicken fried steak, which was a thick piece of meat with a delicious breading (but not too much). There was not one morsel left on his plate.

The service was awful. I had to ask for a waitress on three serperate occasions, and the bartender ended up being the one to take our order after 35 minutes. Atmosphere is great, but the wait staff is a cluster.

We had such an amazing night just doing appetizers and drinks. The whipped feta was my favorite and the hibiscus spritz stole the night for me. Amazing service and wonderful atmosphere. Thank you to all!

TLDR: Great food. Service has room to grow. We will be back though

Commonwealth has all the typical markings of a “Trendy Millenial” vibe restaurant and for the most part they get it right and do it right versus others. Unfortunately, for these establishments it is common there is an apparent need for growth in service despite the great atmosphere and food (that may be slightly overpriced to accommodate for the atmosphere) The service in the bar area often focused to patrons only at the counter and not the bar tables. We had a tables full of empty dishes and glasses for about 10+ minutes before staff came and picked them up. This is not something common with other restaurants. Secondly, service also missed on multiple points the typical small polite comments in verbal exchanges with customers. Whether it be a rush or lack of staff, other restaurants still get this done. Lastly, in a completely empty dining area we were seated in the tucked away corner up against a blank white wall, away from windows and visibility to the rest of the restaurant. Anyone who sits there will feel as if they are excluded from the experience. That seating decision was not made nefariously, but one of the perks as a customer arriving to a restaurant before a rush is good seating.

Well, I was not very impressed with the food considering the price. The management was great and the service was OK. They forgot about us outside, but management did pay for our desserts.

Commonwealth is one of my absolute favorite spots for both lunch and dinner. The drinks are always some of the most creative and enjoyable around, and the food menu is a perfect mix of staple favorites and exciting new seasonal ideas. It’s also a wonderful place for special events or business meetings, the atmosphere is versatile yet elevated. I especially love their members area and hope to join someday. Truly a gem in the community!

My family and I had not had a chance to visit Commonwealth because we live about 25min away, but after last night we will definitely be back! Last night I reserved two pickleball courts for my 14yo daughter and her friends to enjoy for a small birthday get together. Upon arrival the staff was so kind in greeting us and although I did not make a reservation for outside seating, they accommodated us quickly and our entire group had a great spot by our reserved courts. Mikayla (I’m so sorry if I misspelled her name) was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing! She has the best customer service and took exceptional care of us! Mikayla was also kind enough to put my daughter’s cake in the fridge so it didn’t melt in this Texas heat. Everyone that helped Mikayla bring out food was also so kind and accommodating. We really enjoyed all the food and a few of us parents enjoyed the drink menu as well! Commonwealth, thank you for having us! This is a great space and was so much fun!
