02/22/2024 1315 hrs, 1:15pm Being of Czechoslovakian decent, I have been trying to stop at Tanglefoot since 2023, but my VA appointments never lined up, until today! I was so excited to see that kind of beers they offered. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. The Tanglefoot employee hastily walked in front of me, quickly raised his hand, stopped me and blocked me from entering. I was immediately told myself, and my Service Dog were not allowed in, then he hastily walked away. I just stood there dumbfounded, sooo, I had no other recourse, I turned around and left. This business is NOT ADA Service Dog, Animal compliant. So much for this place. My money will be better spent at a Better Brewery. In case anyone is wondering. I don't do posts for freebies. I just write about my experiences. This experience was horrible. A simple sign on Tanglefoot's door (would be nice): "Service Animals, and Pets are not Allowed Entry"

Went to Al's bbq today to pick up a pound of brisket to take home. The parking lot was full which means the food must be good also fish Friday. The brisket was perfectly smoked and very tender. I didn't get fish but by the way it was selling it had to be good.

Fun little startup brewery than pays homage to their Czech heritage. Supper nice staff and the place has a wonderful smell of bbq. The have three pivo styles: 10°,12°,13° The 12° has a hoppier tone and honest Czech beer taste. The name Tanglefoot alludes to the original name of Temple related to the local grass that would tangle your feet as you walked around. Definitely a place to visit again. They are open only on Saturday.

Small brewery co-located with Al's Bar B-Q Barn, in a small, cozy room to the left of the main dining room as you go in. Brewer produces solid authentic Czech lagers, so if you enjoy Central European lagers like you get in the gasthaus or bierstubes in Germany, you won't be disappointed! Right now three on tap, 10/12 Degrees Plato pale lagers, and a 13 degree dark lager. Very tasty, very nice for a Texas summer. Excellent BBQ next door that you can bring back while you drink, or pick up a glass if you stay in the restaurant. Well worth checking out.

We ate at Als 05/08/21. Food was good , place looked have had a fresh remodel. Everything looked new. Smoked turkey plate was moist and my friends had brisket plates that they all enjoyed, plenty of food in each serving. The coleslaw, green beans, and potato salad were all good. The big secret is the home brew bar in the back. The 10 below Pilsner was very good. I would order that one again for sure.

The bbq sauce was runny. The service was friendly. Was out of a few things. The meat was ok, but didn’t have the smoke flavor.

American food and service here is better than most. service is typically above par. it has a nice feel to it.
Ate here for the first time and the service was great, friendly staff and the whole family loved the food. Hamburgers were kid approved and bbq was flavorful/tender!

Staff was friendly but other than that I won’t be back unless i want catfish and tarter. Loved the tarter and the catfish was good. Bbq sauce needs a lot of help. Ribs were average and sides were ok. But way too much competition for mediocre food.

I highly recommend their chopped beef. It really is the best I've ever eaten. The employees are also courteous and make you feel like you are a valued customer.

2/20/20 They did offer us replacement sausage as they were going to start making a less spicy version We showed up to pu the other day and they didn’t save us any. Called in in 20th for replacement (mild) sausage plus additional sausage and 2 lg Mac & cheese. Called 2x to assure it was saved so we can pu. When we arrived the guy at window said his boss told him to sell our Mac& cheese. We were flabbergasted. I asked how they can do that to us. This was for us & friends now w
